The maximum depth of cut achievable with a traditional petrol disc cutter is about 100mm with a 12″ saw and 125mm with a 14″ model. The cutting capacity of the K1 has been optimized, enabling the 12″ model to cut up to 119mm and the 14″ up to 145mm, giving the 12″ K1 the equivalent cutting capacity of a 14″ petrol saw and the 14″ K1 that of a 16″ petrol saw.
X-HALT BRAKE
The K1 is fitted with Husqvarna’s new X-Halt™ braking system. X-Halt™ blade
brake function capable of stopping the rotation of the blade in fractions of a
second. This helps to reduce the risk of accidental injury and ensure enhanced
operator safety.
