INPUTS

• XLR: Connect a microphone to the phantom power-equipped input. Consult your microphone’s documentation before using.

• Line (1/4″, TRS): Connect line-level devices. For stereo channels, use the (MONO)L input to send a mono signal to both the Left and Right Main Output channels.

• GAIN: Adjust channel level.

• EQ HI: Adjust treble frequencies.

• EQ LOW: Adjust bass frequencies.

• PAN: Adjust the channel’s Left-Right position in the stereo field.

• VOLUME: Adjust the volume level of the channel’s output signal.

• Decrease the GAIN and/or VOLUME if the PEAK LED flashes.

• MAIN OUT (1/4″, TRS): Connect to speakers or amplifier system.

• Adjust volume level of the channel’s output signal.

• Decrease the volume if the CLIP LEDs light up excessively.

• HEADPHONES (1/4″): Press the SOURCE button to switch the headphone output source between the MAIN OUT and 2TK/USB signals.

• Turn the HEADPHONE VOLUME knob to adjust the volume.

• 2TK/USB (RCA): Connect the INPUTS to the outputs of an external sound source. You can send this channel to the HEADPHONE or MAIN mix using the 2TK/USB TO MAIN OUT button. Use the IN VOLUME knob to adjust the level.

• Connect the OUTPUTS to the inputs of an external recording device.

• USB RECORDING AND PLAYBACK: Use the included USB cable to connect TrueMix 500 to your computer. Select “USB AUDIO CODEC” as your default recording (input) and playback (output) devices in the following locations depending on your operating system:

• Windows: Control Panel > Hardware and Sound> Sound

• macOS: Applications > Utilities> Audio MIDI Setup See the full User Guide for more information.
