Product Information
The PIXIE Smart Strip Kit G3 CCT Tunable – COB LED is a third-generation smart strip kit that uses COB LED technology and the PIXIE control system to deliver a simple and sophisticated control and lighting combination. The kit includes a COB LED strip, an LED driver (DC24V), and a smart strip controller. The strip is available in two different lengths: 2000mm and 5000mm, and iscuttable every 30mm. The kit can be controlled using the PIXIE or PIXIE PLUS App, which can be downloaded from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The app allows users to adjust the color temperature of the lights from 2700K-6500K and dim the lights according to their preference. The lights have a CRI of >90 and are IP20 rated.
Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Read the user manual and warranty instructions before installing the product. The product must be installed in accordance with AS/NZS3000 by a qualified installer.
- Step 2: Unpack the product package and ensure that all components are present.
- Step 3: Install the LED strip in the desired location. Ensure that the strip is not bent to a diameter less than 40mm, on a horizontal plane, or under excessive pressure on the surface.
- Step 4: Connect the LED driver to the LED strip according to the wiring diagram provided in the user manual.
- Step 5: Connect the smart strip controller to the LED driver as per the wiring diagram provided in the user manual.
- Step 6: Download the PIXIE or PIXIE PLUS App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
- Step 7: Open the app and scan the QR code provided in the user manual or search for the app and download it.
- Step 8: Pair the app with the smart strip controller by following the instructions provided in the app.
- Step 9: Once paired, adjust the color temperature and dim the lights according to your preference using the app.
- Step 10: Ensure that the lights are not powered while on the spool or tightly coiled.
- Step 11: Regularly clean and maintain the equipment as per the instructions provided in the user manual.

Installation
- Clean the surface before mounting
- Peel off 3M™ Adhesive Backing to ensure proper adhesion
- Adhere to a smooth, dry surface without touching beads
- Must be installed with a heatsink

- DO NOT BEND LED STRIP LIGHT TO A DIAMETER LESS THAN 40MM
- DO NOT BEND LED STRIP LIGHT ON A HORIZONTAL PLANE
- DO NOT PUT EXCESSIVE PRESSURE ON SURFACE OF STRIP (GLASS/ACRYLIC PANES, ETC.)
- DO NOT POWER STRIP LIGHT WHILE ON THE SPOOL OR TIGHTLY COILED.

Warranty
In accordance with SAL’s standard terms and conditions of sale, SAL warrant this product to be free from defects in materials and or workmanship for a period as stated below for goods not subject to incorrect installation, maintenance, operation, mishandling, environmental, unauthorised modifications or electrical operating conditions outside the nominated product specification as detailed in these installation instructions. The benefits to you given by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies you have under law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

How to make a claim?
- Step #1 – Within 30 days of the fault discovery, please contact the original place of the SAL product purchase during standard (local) business hours, with the following information (a) proof of purchase (b) description and quantity of the claimed fault (c) address of installation. (d) operating hours of the product.
- Step #2 – It is then the responsibility of the original place of the product purchase to report the matter to SAL aftersales;
