SWANDOO Universal Footmuff

Product Information

The Footmuff is a compatible accessory with Swandoo Albert, Marie Series & Curie Strollers & child seats with crotch pad. It can be used as a poncho or a blanket for children up to ~74cm and ~105cm respectively. The footmuff is equipped with an upper button, an upper buttonhole, a length adjuster button, a length adjuster eyelet, and a crotch pad hole. The water-repellent fabric of the footmuff protects against cold weather, wind, and light rain.

Product Usage Instructions

Installation:

1. If you are using a newborn pillow, remove it before installing the footmuff. Remember to reinstall it again before placing your child.
2. Push the crotch pad of your seat/stroller through the footmuff’s crotch pad hole (E).

Use as a Poncho:

1. Place the footmuff over your child’s head, with the upper button aligned with the top of their head.
2. Insert their arms through the openings on each side of the footmuff.
3. Secure the footmuff around their neck by fastening the upper button to the upper buttonhole.
4. Adjust the length of the footmuff using the length adjuster button and length adjuster eyelet as needed.

Use as a Blanket:

1. Place the footmuff over your child’s body, with the upper button aligned with their chest.
2. Secure the footmuff around their body by fastening the upper button to the upper buttonhole.
3. Adjust the length of the footmuff using the length adjuster button and length adjuster eyelet as needed.

Washing & Care:
- Hand wash the footmuff with mild detergents.
- Do not iron, dry clean, bleach or tumble dry.
- Keep away from your pets and direct heat.
- Do not use bleach, abrasive, upholstery, or aggressive cleaning agents.
- The water-repellent treatment of the fabric may lose its performance after a couple of washes. An over-the-counter water repellent spray can be used to restore its performance.

SAFETY INSTRUCTION

If a newborn pillow is in use, please remove it before installing this product. If needed, remember to reinstall it again before placing your child.
Push the crotch pad of your seat/stroller through the footmuff’s crotch pad hole (E).
If you’re using the footmuff in a car seat: before placing your child remove any puffy winter clothes. Thick layers can lead to excess slack in the harness and compromise your child’s safety. Keep your child securely buckled up at all times and never leave them unattended.
Insert the legs of your child in the footmuff. If necessary, adjust its length using the internal length adjuster (C + D).
Cover your child in the desired configuration (poncho or blanket) according to your child’s size and current environmental conditions.

WASHING & CARE

Hand wash recommended.
Use mild detergents.
Do not iron, dry clean, bleach or tumble dry.
Keep away from your dog, cat and direct heat.
Do not use bleach, abrasive, upholstery or aggressive cleaning agents.
As it happens to all water repellent fabrics, the treatment loses its original performance when washed. If after a couple of washes you notice that the repellency is fading, you can apply an over-the-counter water repellent spray to restore the performance.
- Note: Water-repellent fabrics protect perfectly from cold weather, wind and light rain. The product is not supposed to keep the baby dry while standing in the pouring rain.
- Note: Using this product will not lead to your child developing a warmer personality.

The warranty covers all manufacturing and material defects existing at the date of purchase, or appearing within 2 years from the date of receipt from the retailer. This warranty does not cover damages caused by normal wear and tear, negligence, accidents, abuse or a result of failing to comply with the user manual.
