For the maximum protection and comfort of your child, it is essential that you
read through the entire manual carefully and follow all instructions on how to
install and use this product.
Always keep it in the storage compartment of your seat. Also read the
instructions in your vehicle owner’s manual related to child safety seats. If
not operated correctly it may result in serious injuries or even death.
NOTICE
This is an “i-Size” Child Restraint System. It is approved to Regulation No.
129/00 for use in “i-Size compatible” vehicle seating positions as indicated
by vehicle manufacturer in the vehicle users’ manual. If in doubt, consult
either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer.
Only use this product on a forward-facing seat. Do not place rear-facing car
seats on front seats with airbags. This product has been approved according to
the strictest European safety standards (ECE R129/00) and is suitable for
rearward facing (4085 cm) with ISOFIX and support leg anchoring systems.
The correct fitting of the ISOFIX anchoring system and support leg is of vital
importance for the safety of your child. Please check your vehicle
manufacturer’s handbook to locate the ISOFIX anchor points.
The base will not fit every vehicle. To find out if the base fits your

PLACING YOUR BABY

PLACING THE NEWBORN PILLOW 1 Feed the shoulder harness through the hole of the
newborn pillow. 2 Clad the headrest with the pillow.

pillow away from the seat.

PLACING YOUR BABY Notice: Please always use the attached pillow
for babies below 6 kg.

1 Press the red button of the buckle to open it.
2 Rise the shoulder harness of the child seat.
3 Place your baby into the child seat.
4 Put the buckle back together until you hear a “Click”.
5 Adjust the length of the harness to suit your baby.
Try to pinch the harness with
your fingers. If you can grasp any
webbing, tighten up the harness
and test again.

Adjust the headrest position whilst your baby is in the child seat.
Always secure your baby with the seat harness. Never take your child out of
the child safety seat when the vehicle is moving.
Never use the product in any configuration or assembling method not shown in
the instructions.
Always cover the product when exposed to direct sunlight. Parts of the seat
may get too hot for your child’s skin. Check the temperature before placing
your child into the seat.
Make sure the seat harness is fastened tightly around the pelvis of your
child.
Notice: Make sure the handle is locked in position 1 when you use the product
in the vehicle.
Notice: Make sure the handle is locked in position 2 when you lift it up.
Prevent the product from becoming trapped or weighed down by luggage or any
heavy objects.
Make sure that the product, its rigid items and plastic parts are located and
installed in a way that they are not liable, during everyday use of the
vehicle, to become trapped by a moveable seat or in a door of the vehicle.

INSTALLATION USING ALBERT I-SIZE BASE PREPARING THE ISOFIX BASE

1 If needed, place the two ISOFIX guides on both ISOFIX anchor points between
the seat and the seat back. 2 Extend the ISOFIX connectors by pushing the
release button for the connectors forward. 3 Fold out the support leg.
Warning: Never use the product in any configuration or assembly method not
shown in the instructions.

1 Insert both connectors into the ISOFIX anchor points until you hear a
“Click”. Check that the indicator for connectors have turned green.

2 Place both hands on the ISOFIX Base and push it against the vehicle’s seat
as strongly as possible until it is firmly positioned.
3 Push the release button for the support leg and move the leg downwards until
it reaches the floor of the vehicle. Check that the indicator for the support
leg is green.
Warning: Watch your fingers when folding or unfolding the ISOFIX Base leg.
PLACING THE SEAT
Before placing the seat, make sure that the ISOFIX Base is properly installed
and read the Albert seat user manual on how to use the seat correctly.
1 Place the seat on the base until you hear a “Click”.
2 Check that the indicator for the seat of the ISOFIX Base is green.
3 Place the handle of the seat into the indicated position.
Notice: Make sure the handle is locked in the indicated position when you use
the product in the vehicle.

INSTALLING THE SIDE IMPACT BUDDY
SNAP!
1 Insert the Side Impact Buddy into the oval socketon the side of the seat.
2 Rotate the Side Impact Buddy 90 degrees until it snaps.
Albert offers high level integrated side impact protection. The Side Impact
Buddy further enhances the protection.
The Side Impact Buddy always has to be placed at the window side of the
vehicle’s seat.
The Side Impact Buddy may not fit in all vehicles.
UNLOCKING THE SEAT
1 Place the handle of the seat into the indicated position.

2 Push the release button at the back of the seat.
3 Lift the seat.
Notice: Make sure the handle is locked in the indicated position when you lift
it up.

1 Push the release button for the support leg and move the leg upwards.
2 Push and hold the release button for the ISOFIX connectors and pull the
ISOFIX Base away from the vehicle’s seat.
3 Fold in the support leg.
Notice: The support leg must make full firm contact with the vehicle’s floor.
The support leg must never be suspended in mid-air or supported by other
objects. Do not place the support leg on a floor storage compartment lid.
Warning: Make sure the support leg does not raise the base from the surface of
the vehicle seat.
Warning: Do not place any objects in the foot well in front of the base.

the unsecured base may harm other

This product should be replaced when it has been subject to violent stress in an accident. The correct fitting of the ISOFIX and support leg anchoring systems is of vital importance for the safety of your child.
INSTALLATION WITH SEATBELT

Please place the child seat on the vehicle’s seat exactly as the illustration
shows.Only use the child seat on a forward-facing seat that is fitted with a
3-point safety belt that complies with the ECE R16 or GB14166 standards (at a
minimum).
1 Feed the vehicle’s seat belt through the lap belt guides.
2 Lock it until you hear a “Click”.
3 Pass through the shoulder belt guide at the back of the child seat.
4 Place the handle of the seat into the indicated position.
5 Fasten the vehicle’s seat belt tightly.

Warning: The product may only be installed in a rear-facing position in your
vehicle.
Warning: The threepoint belt must only be passed through the designated
guides. The belt guides are described in detail in this manual and are marked
in blue on the infant car seat.
Warning: The safest place for your baby is the rear of your vehicle. However,
if you need to install the seat in the front passenger seat, please ensure
that the airbag is deactivated. Warning: Make sure that the belt holding the
seat to the vehicle is tight and not damaged, twisted or worn-out.

Warning: Make sure that the legs of your baby are secured under the vehicle’s
seat.
Do not use any load bearing contact points other than those described in the
instructions and marked on the child restraint.
The seat should always be placed securely in the ISOFIX Base, or belted in the
vehicle, even when not in use. In a crash or sudden stop, the unsecured seat
may harm other occupants.
Make sure the fold-down rear seat is locked into position.
After an accident, the product and your vehicle’s seat belts should be
replaced. Although they may look un-damaged, they may not be able to protect
your child as well as they should.
Make sure luggage or other objects are properly secured. Unsecured lug-gage
may cause severe injuries to children and adults in an accident.
USING THE SUN CANOPY

1 Open the pocket of the canopy. 2 Extract the canopy. 3 Make sure the handle
is in the vertical position, then pull the canopy over it.

2 Open the back pocket to remove the center filling. 3 Remove pad from the
harness. 4 Remove the cover from the headrest. 5 Unfasten the snap buttons on
both sides. 6 Open the pocket of the sun canopy. 7 Unhook the 3 elastic
latches.

8 Remove the cover from the pocket. 9 Loosen the cover by lifting it up. 10 Pull out the head rest from the back.

Unhook the elastic latch from both sides. REPOSITIONING THE COVER
1 The fabric installation tool is under the left side of the headrest.
2 Use it to push the cover into the right position. Make sure to put the
covers back the same
way they previously were. You can follow the previous steps in reverse order
to make sure everything is in its place.

Use mild detergents. Do not iron, dry clean, bleach or tumble dry. Keep away
from your dog, your cat and direct heat. Do not use bleach, abrasive,
upholstery or aggressive cleaning agents.
Clean the plastic parts and the integrated harness system with a mild
detergent and warm water.
Do not use lubricants.
The fabric cover is a safety feature and the child seat should never be used
without it.
If the cover needs replacing at any time, only use official Swandoo Albert
fabrics.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Only adults should fix or adjust the product.
Do not make any changes to the product whatsoever. This could affect its
performance and make it unsafe.
Do not use the product with damaged or missing parts.
Do not use a second-hand child seat or child seat whose history you do not
know. Please check the security mark of the product. It is dangerous to use
unauthorized or changed products!
Do not use the product if there is any evidence of unlicensed modification.
Do not remove any labels on the product. They contain important information.
Never use the seat as a shopping bag or as a means for transporting something.
In the event of an emergency, it is important to release the child quickly.
This means that the buckle is not fully tamper proof and therefore your

child should never play with the buckle.

Zweifelsfall mit dem Hersteller oder Händler des Kindersitzes in Verbindung.
Verwenden Sie dieses Produkt nur auf einem nach vorne gerichteten Sitz.
Platzieren Sie keine rückwärts gerichteten Kindersitze auf Vordersitzen mit
Airbags. Dieses Produkt ist nach strengsten europäischen Sicherheitsstandards
(ECE R129/00) zugelassen für rückwärts gerichtete ISOFIX Systeme (4085 cm)

RICHTIGE SICHERUNG IHRES KINDES
Bitte benutzen Sie für Babies unter 6 kg immer die mitgelieferte
Neugeboreneneinlage.

1 Drücken Sie den roten Knopf des Schlosses um es zu öffnen.
2 Heben Sie die Schultergurte des Kindersitzes an.
3 Setzen Sie Ihr Baby in den Kindersitz.
4 Stecken Sie den Gurt in das Schloss bis Sie es kilicken hören.
5 Passen Sie die Länge der Sitzgurte an den Körper Ihres Babys an.
Versuchen Sie, den Gurt zwischen den Fingern zusammenzuzwicken. Können Sie das
Gurtband nicht greifen, sitzt der Gurt straff genug. Ziehen Sie den Gurt
andernfalls fester.
Verwenden Sie immer die mitgelieferte Neugeboreneneinlage solange Ihr Baby
unter 60 cm (6 kg) ist. ! Warnung: Lassen Sie Ihr Kind niemals unbeaufsichtigt
in einem Kindersitz, auch nicht für eine kurze Zeit.
Warnung: Ihr Kind sollte niemals länger als 2 Stunden ohne Unterbrechung im
Kindersitz sitzen.
Warnung: Benutzen Sie diesen Sitz niemals, wenn der Sitzgurt beschädigt,
verdreht oder abgenutzt ist.

VERSTELLBARE KOPFSTÜTZE UND TRAGEGRIFF
Passen Sie die Position der Kopfstütze an, während sich Ihr Baby im Sitz
befindet.
Sichern Sie Ihr Baby stets mit dem Sitzgurt. Nehmen Sie Ihr Kind niemals aus
der Babyschale während sich das Fahrzeug in Bewegung befindet.
Nehmen Sie das Produkt niemals in einer anderen Konfiguration oder Montageart
in Benutzung als in den Anweisungen beschrieben.
Bedecken Sie den Sitz immer, wenn er direktem Sonnenlicht ausgesetzt ist.
Teile können für die Haut Ihres Kindes zu heiß werden. Kontrollieren Sie die
Temperatur bevor Sie Ihr Kind in den Sitz setzen.
Gehen Sie sicher, dass der Sitzgurt fest um das Becken Ihres Kindes angezogen
ist.

1 Platzieren Sie beide ISOFIX-Führungen auf die Ankerpunkte zwischen dem Sitz
und der Rückenlehne. 2 Ziehen Sie die ISOFIXKonnektoren mithilfe der
Entriegelungstaste nach vorne raus. 3 Klappen Sie den Stützluss aus.
Warnung: Verwenden Sie das Produkt nie in einer anderen Konfiguration oder

der Indikator für den Stützfuss grün ist.
Warnung: Passen Sie auf ihre Finger auf wenn Sie das Bein der ISOFIX Base ein
und ausklappen.
DEN SITZ PLATZIEREN
Stellen Sie vor der Installation des Sitzes sicher, dass die ISOFIX Base
korrekt installiert ist und lesen Sie sich das Handbuch des Albert
Kindersitzes über die Nutzung durch.
1 Platzieren Sie den Sitz auf der Base bis Sie ein ,,Klick” hören.

SNAP!
1 Setzen Sie den Seitenaufprallschutz in den an der Seite des Kindersitzes
vorgesehene Vorkehrung ein.
2 Drehen Sie den Seitenaufprallschutz um 90 Grad bis dieser einrastet.
Albert bietet einen integrierten Seitenaufprallschutz auf hohem Niveau. Der
zusätzliche Seitenaufprallschutz erhöht die Sicherheit zusätzlich.
Der Side Impact Buddy muss immer zur Fensterseite des Fahrzeugs am Kindersitz
platziert werden.
Der Side Impact Buddy ist eventuell nicht mit allen Fahrzeugen kompatibel.

Ceci est un système de retenue pour enfant “i-Size”. Il est agréé par le
règlement n° 129/00 pour l’utilisation dans des positions assises dans un
véhicule “compatible avec i-Size” comme cela est indiqué par le constructeur
du véhicule dans la notice du véhicule. En cas de doute, veuillez consulter le
fabricant du dispositif de retenue pour enfant ou le distributeur.
N’utilisez ce produit que sur un siège face à la route. Ne placez pas les
sièges-autos dos à la route sur les sièges avant avec airbags. Ce produit a
été agréé conformément aux normes de sécurité européennes les plus strictes

1 Appuyez sur le bouton rouge de la boucle pour l’ouvrir.
2 Soulevez le harnais d’épaule du siège-auto.
3 Installez votre béb é dans le siège-auto.
4 Refermez la boucle jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez un déclic.
5 Réglez la longueur du harnais en fonction de votre bébé.
Essayez de pincer la sangle du harnais entre vos doigts. Si vous n’y arrivez
pas, c’est que la sangle est suffisamment serrée. Sinon, resserrez la sangle.
Utilisez toujours le réducteur nouveau-né pour les bébés de moins de 60 cm (6
kg). ! Mise en garde: ne laissez jamais votre enfant sans surveillance dans un
siège-auto, même pendant très peu de temps.
Mise en garde: votre enfant ne doit pas rester assis dans un siègeauto pendant
plus de deux heures d’affilée.

RÉGLAGE DE L’APPUIE-TÊTE ET DE LA POIGNÉE
Réglez la position de l’appuietête pendant que votre enfant se trouve dans le
siège-auto.
Attachez toujours votre bébé avec le harnais du siègeauto. Ne sortez jamais
votre enfant du siège-auto pour enfant lorsque le véhicule est en mouvement.
N’utilisez jamais le produit dans une configuration ou méthode d’assemblage
autre que celles figurant dans les instructions. Couvrez toujours le produit
lorsqu’il se trouve en plein soleil.
Des parties du siègeauto peuvent devenir trop chaudes pour la peau de votre
enfant. Vérifiez la température avant d’installer votre enfant dans le siège-
auto.
Assurez-vous que le harnais du siège est bien attaché autour du bassin de
votre enfant.

descendez la jambe de force jusqu’à ce qu’elle atteigne le plancher de la
voiture. Vérifiez que l`indicateur de la jambe de force est vert.

La protection latérale doit toujours être placée côté portière.
Il est possible que la protection latérale ne puisse pas être utilisée dans

Remarque: la jambe de force avant doit se trouver bien au contact du plancher
du véhicule. La jambe de force ne doit jamais être suspendue en l’air ou être
soutenue par d’autres objets. Ne placez pas la jambe de force avant sur le
couvercle d’un espace de rangement au sol.

Mise en garde: assurez-vous que les jambes de votre bébé sont en sécurité sous
la ceinture de la voiture.
Nutilisez aucun point de contact portant des charges autre que ceux décrits dans les instructions et marqués sur le dispositif de retenue pour enfant. Le siège-auto doit toujours être bien attaché avec la ceinture de sécurité dans la voiture même sil nest pas utilisé. En cas daccident ou d`arrêt
brusque, un siège-auto mal fixé peut blesser les autres occupants.
Assurez-vous que le siège arrière pliable est verrouillé à son emplacement.
Après un accident, le produit et les ceintures de sécurité de votre voiture
doivent être remplacés. Même s’ils ne semblent pas être endommagés, ils
pourraient ne plus être en mesure de protéger votre enfant comme ils le
devraient.
Assurez-vous que les bagages ou autres objets sont correctement attachés. Les
bagages non attachés peuvent provoquer des blessures graves aux enfants et aux
adultes en cas d’accident.

mai il prodotto con una configurazione o una procedura di montaggio diverse da
quelle indicate nelle istruzioni. Coprire sempre il prodotto se esposto alla
luce solare diretta. Alcune parti del seggiolino potrebbero surriscaldarsi

Voor de maximale bescherming en het comfort van uw kind is het belangrijk dat
u de gehele handleiding nauwkeurig leest en alle instructies volgt over het
installeren en gebruiken van het product. Bewaar het altijd in het
opbergcompartiment van uw stoel. Lees ook de instructies in de
gebruikershandleiding van het voertuig betreffende het kinderstoeltje. Wanneer
niet juist gebruikt, kan dit leiden tot ernstig letsel en zelfs de dood.
OPMERKING
Dit is een kindbeschermingssysteem van “i-Size”. Het is goedgekeurd volgens
regulering nr. 129/00 voor gebruik in “i-Size-compatibele” zitposities in
voertuigen, zoals wordt aangegeven in de gebruikershandleiding van het
voertuig van de voertuigfabrikant. Raadpleeg bij twijfel de fabrikant of de
handelaar van het kindbeschermingssysteem.
Gebruik dit product alleen op een voorwaarts gerichte stoel. Plaats geen
achterwaarts gerichte autostoeljes op voorstoelen met airbags. Dit product is
goedgekeurd volgens de strengste Europese veiligheidsnormen (ECE R129 /00) en
is geschikt om achterwaarts te worden gericht (40-85 cm) met ISOFIX-
verankeringssystemen en verankeringsystemen met een steunpoot.

4 Voeg de gespdelen samen tot u een “klik” hoort.

Probeer de gordel van het tuigje met beide vingers samen te knijpen, neem dan
de banden en trek het opnieuw aan. Test of het goed zit, zo niet trek dan
opnieuw aan.
Gebruik altijd het meegeleverde pasgeborene kussen voor baby’s onder de 60 cm
(6 kg). ! Waarschuwing: Laat uw kind nooit zonder toezicht in het
kinderstoeltje, zelfs niet voor korte tijd.
Waarschuwing: U mag uw kind niet langer dan twee uur achter elkaar in een
autostoeltje laten zitten.

Stel de positie van de hoofdsteun in terwijl uw baby in het kinderstoeltje
zit.
Maak uw baby altijd vast met het harnas van het stoeltje. Haal uw kind nooit
uit het veiligheidsstoeltje als het voertuig in beweging is.
Gebruik het product nooit in een configuratie- of montagemethode die niet in
de instructies wordt getoond.
Dek het product altijd af wanneer blootgesteld aan direct zonlicht. Delen van
het stoeltje kunnen te heet worden voor de huid van uw kind. Controleer de
temperatuur voordat u uw kind in het stoeltje plaatst.
Zorg dat het harnas van het stoeltje stevig rond het bekken van uw kind
vastzit.
