Product Usage Instructions: DJI RC Motion 2

The DJI RC Motion 2 is designed to work with DJI drones. Follow the steps below to get started:

  1. Check the battery level of your remote control by pressing the power button once.

  2. To power on/off the remote control, press the power button and then press and hold it.

  3. Power on your drone and goggles, and ensure that the drone is linked with the goggles.

  4. Link the remote control with the drone by following the steps below:

    • Press and hold the power button of the drone until the battery level indicators blink in sequence.
    • Press and hold the power button of the remote control until it beeps continually and the battery level indicators blink in sequence.
    • The remote control will stop beeping when linking is successful, and the battery level indicators will turn solid and display the battery level.
  5. Use the lock button to take off the drone by pressing it twice.
    Hold it down to make the drone ascend to approximately 1.2m and hover. Press and hold the button while hovering to land the drone and stop the motors.

  6. Use the joystick toggle to move the drone up or down or horizontally left or right.

  7. Use the mode button to switch between Normal and Sport mode.
    Press and hold the button to initiate RTH (Return-to-Home).

  8. Use the FN dial to control the camera tilt. Press the dial to open the camera settings panel in the FPV view of the goggles. Scroll the dial to navigate the settings menu or adjust the parameter value, then press the dial to confirm the selection.
    Press and hold the dial to exit the current menu. Use the FN dial to control the camera tilt before takeoff or during RTH and landing. Press and hold the FN dial from the FPV view and then scroll up or down to tilt the camera. Release the dial to stop the camera tilt.

Following these instructions will allow you to use your DJI RC Motion 2 remote control with your DJI drone.

Instructions

  1. Check battery level: press once Power n/off: press then press and hold.

  2. Power on the aircraft and the goggles. Make sure that the aircraft has linked with the goggles.

  4. Press and hold the power button of the aircraft until the battery level indicators blink in sequence.

  5. Press and hold the power button of the controller until it beeps continually and the battery level indicators blink in sequence

  6. The controller stops beeping when linking is successful and the battery level indicators turn solid and display the battery level.

    1. Lock Button
      Takeoff: press twice to start the aircraft motors and then press and hold to make the aircraft take off. The aircraft will ascend to approximately 1.2 m and hover. Landing: while the aircraft is hovering, press and hold to land the aircraft and stop the motors. Brake: press during flight to make the aircraft brake and hoverin place. Press again to unlock the attitude.
  7. Joystick Toggle
    up or down to make the aircraft ascend or descend. Toggle left or right to make the aircraft horizontally move left or right.

  8. Mode Button
    Press to switch between Normal and Sport mode. Press and hold to initiate RTH.

  9. FN Dial
    Press the dial to open the camera settings panel in the FPV view of the goggles. Scroll the dial to navigate the settings menu or adjust the parameter value, then press the dial to confirm the selection. Press and hold the dial to exit the current menu. Use the FN dial to control the camera tilt before takeoff or during RTH and landing. Press and hold the FN dial from the FPV view and then scroll up or down to tilt the camera. Release the dial to stop the camera tilt.

  10. Shutter/Record Button
    Press once: take a photo or start/stop recording. Press and hold: switch between the photo and video modes.

  11. Accelerator
    Press to fly the aircraft in the direction of the circle in the goggles. Push forward to fly the aircraft backward. Apply more pressure to accelerate. Release to stop and hover.

How To Use

CHARGING

Activation

When all devices are powered on and linked, connect the USB-C port of the goggles to the mobile device and run the DJI Fy app. The app will automatically identify the DJI RC Motion 2 and activate it in silent mode. Activate the device as soon as possible after purchase to avoid affecting the after-sales service.
