Product Information: WiFi Thermostat 563
The WiFi Thermostat 563 is a programmable thermostat that allows you to control the temperature and humidity in your home remotely using WiFi connectivity. The thermostat has a user-friendly interface with a touchscreen display that shows the current temperature, time, and equipment operating status. It also has multiple modes of operation, such as Heat, Cool, Auto Heat-Cool, and Emergency Heat. Additionally, it allows you to set up an Away temperature to save energy when the building is unoccupied.

Home Screen
After 60 seconds of inactivity, the thermostat home screen displays only the
time and the temperature.

- Go to schedule
- Activate Humidifier or Dehumidifier operation
- Change operating mode (Heat, Cool, Auto Heat-Cool, Emergency Heat, Off)
- Adjust the temperature by touching or buttons
- Select either Heat To or Cool To for temperature adjustment
- Save or cancel temperature adjustment to the schedule
- Go to settings
User Settings
The user settings allow you to customize the thermostat’s operation. You can:
- Activate the Away setting to save energy when the building is unoccupied
- Select Home/Away mode
- Save or view information on the current schedule
- Activate Early Start to anticipate the time required to heat or cool a room and start early
- Set up a new schedule

Display
The display settings allow you to customize the thermostat’s display. You can:
- Select the brightness when touching the display
- Choose the background color and theme (Light, Dark)
- View energy consumption
- Select the brightness after 60 seconds of no use
- Select the language (English, French, Spanish)
- Clean the screen for 10 seconds
- Select if the relative humidity and outdoor temperature are shown when inactive
Time and Date
When connected to the Internet, the time can be set automatically.
NOTE:
Incorrectly setting the time and date manually may prevent the thermostat from
communicating to the mobile app. An automatic time source is recommended when
using an Internet connection.
Time options are:
- 12-hour or 24-hour time format
- Automatic or manual time setting
- Time zone
- Daylight savings time
The time and date settings allow you to customize the thermostat’s clock. You can:
- Set the time and date manually or automatically (when connected to the internet)
- View the time and date options
Fan
The fan settings allow you to customize the thermostat’s fan operation. You can:
- Activate the fan on auto or follow the schedule
- Set a fan schedule for each time period when using a programmable schedule
Setup Menu
The Setup menu contains seven sub-menus that determine how the thermostat operates.
