Product Information
The AKO Trapped Person Alarm Push-button is designed to alert for help in the event of someone becoming trapped in a cold room or other confined space. It includes an alarm station with indicator lights and a pushbutton that needs to be installed inside the cold room. The unit is supplied with the necessary wiring and is suitable for use in various AKO devices. Please follow the instructions and warnings provided in the user manual for proper installation and operation.
Warnings
- Install the alarm and pushbuttons in a place protected from vibrations, water, and corrosive gases
- Install the pushbutton inside the cold room, in a visible place, and no higher than 125cm from the ground
- Ensure regular presence of people who can alert to the presence of alarms
- The pushbutton is not suitable for areas classified as potentially explosive
- Disconnect the power supply before wiring
- Wiring between the pushbutton and station must NEVER be installed in a conduit with power, control, or power supply cables

Product Usage Instructions
Follow these instructions carefully for proper usage of the AKO Trapped Person Alarm Push-button:
- Install the alarm and pushbutton in suitable locations as per the warnings and technical specifications provided in the user manual
- Disconnect the power supply before wiring the pushbutton and station
- Ensure that all connected devices are correctly connected and in NO ALARM mode before configuring the unit
- If using AKO devices, follow the configuration steps provided in the user manual, which include connecting the pushbutton and station, pressing the auto-config pushbutton 5 consecutive times within 2 minutes, and pressing the auto-config pushbutton for 5 seconds until the alarm emits 5 short tones
- Once configured, the display will show the indicator corresponding to the device detected at each input in green
- To activate the alarm, press the alarm pushbutton
- To deactivate the alarm, slightly rotate the alarm pushbutton in a clockwise direction
- Clean the surface of the unit with a soft cloth, water, and soap. Do not use abrasive detergents, petrol, alcohol, or solvents, as they may damage the sensor

Warnings
- The alarm and pushbuttons must be installed in a place protected from vibrations, water and corrosive gases,where the ambient temperature does not exceed the value indicated in the technical data.
- The station must be installed in a place where the regular presence of people who can alert to the presence of alarms is guaranteed.
- Neither the alarm nor the pushbutton are suitable for areas classified as potentially explosive.
- The pushbutton must be installed inside the cold room, in a visible place and no higher than 125 cm from the ground.

Configuration
Use in: AKO-55424 / AKO-555241 / AKO-555242 / AKO-558241 / AKO-558242
Step 1: Once the pushbutton has been connected, connect the power supply
of the station. Before 2 minutes have passed, press the “Autoconfig”
pushbutton 5 consecutive times.
Step 2: Press the “Autoconfig” pushbutton for 5 seconds; the alarm will
emit 5 short tones. Configuration is completed.
For a correct detection of inputs, all devices must be correctly connected and
in NO ALARM mode, including the devices connected to digital inputs.
- Once configured,the display shows the indicator corresponding to the device detected at each input in green:
