Product Information
- The IQ Smart Dimmer is a Z-Wave device that can be used to convert any outlet into a smart outlet. It allows users to control the On/Off function and dimming of lamps with dimmable light bulbs. Additionally, it serves as a repeater in the Z-Wave network, extending and improving the mesh network in locations where it is installed.
- It is important to note that this device is not suitable for use with motor-operated appliances, non-dimmable fluorescent lighting fixtures, or transformer-supplied appliances. The lighting devices connected to this Z-Wave module must not exceed 200W incandescent, 100W dimmable CFL/LED, 120VAC 60Hz (CFL), or LED lighting with dimmable LED/CFL code on box or device.

PRODUCT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

Step 1: Determine Installation Location
Select an appropriate location to plug in the IQ Smart Dimmer. -
Step 2: Prepare the Panel to Enroll the IQ Smart Dimmer
Ensure that the IQ Panel is ready to enroll the IQ Smart Dimmer. Plug in the device at the desired location. -
Step 3: Pairing with the IQ Panel
1. From the Z-Wave menu, select Add Device
2. Press the button on the side of the IQ Smart Dimmer three times quickly to enroll it with the IQ Panel
3. Complete the pairing process by touching Add and customizing the name if desired
4. Press the Include button to finalize pairing
5. Test the device to ensure proper function

FEATURES & OVERVIEW
- The IQ Smart Dimmer can be used to turn any outlet into a smart outlet to turn lamps On, Off, or control dimming of any lamps with dimmable light bulbs. Each Z-Wave device also serves as a repeater in the Z-Wave network, extending and improving the mesh network in the installed location.
- The IQ Smart Dimmer is a Z-Wave Plus® certified device and includes S2 security and SmartStart. You can now add this device securely and with ease using QR code on the box or device.
