PNI International House 910 WiFi Smart Video Door Phone

Safety warnings

  •  The installation and any intervention on the door phone-doorbell system must be performed by authorized personnel
  •  Do not use any voltage other than that recommended by the manufacturer to power the intercom and doorbell
  •  The door phone terminals must be protected from water or any other liquid
  •  Do not short-circuit the electrical components of the video door phone components
  •  The batteries, optionally connected to the intercom, must be replaced if faulty or discharged.

Installation

  1.  Fix the door phone’s bracket with 3 screws, 1.4-1.6 meters from the ground.
  2.  Connect the door phone to the power supply and to the electric lock according to the connection diagram below
  3.  Fix the door phone into the wall bracket and tighten the screw at the bottom

Notes:
Make sure that the PIR sensor is not under the action of the sun’s rays Do not install the door phone in areas with frequent traffic Make sure you install the intercom close enough to the router, otherwise, the video quality may be affected.

Connection diagram
Connect the power supply to the door phone. The configuration illustrated below allows the connection of an electric lock without connecting any additional power supply.

Note:
If you power supplies the door phone with batteries, the output for the electric lock will not work, as the batteries do not provide the necessary voltage.

The door phone

LED indicator

  •  Red and green lights alternate – batteries are charging
  •  The red light flashes – the door phone is waiting for network configuration
  •  The green light flashes often – network configuration in progress
  •  Stable green light – the door phone is in normal operation condition
  •  Yellow light (red and green light at the same time) – the door phone is powered from an external power source or batteries fully charged or no batteries. Note: If no batteries have been installed, the light will be yellow
  •  The LED is off – the door phone is in standby mode (low power consumption)

The doorbell

Usage instructions

  1.  Without sound, the LED flashes
  2.  Sound only, no LED
  3.  Sound and LED

LED indicator

  •  When the doorbell is in normal operation condition, the red LED flashes.
  •  When the battery voltage is lower than 3.3V, the red LED remains constantly lit.

Pairing

  1.  Insert 3 AA batteries into the doorbell.
  2.  Press for 3 seconds the button The doorbell will ring Ding-Dong to indicate the pairing status
  3.  Press the call button on the door phone.
  4.  The selected song will sound in the doorbell and the indicator LED will flash.
  5.  The pairing ended successfully.

Delete pairing
Press the key for 5 seconds on the doorbell. You will hear a Ding-Dong, Ding- Dong sound. Now the two units are no longer paired.

Add the door phone to the app

  1.  Connect your phone to the 2.4GHz network (WiFi 5GHz is not supported)
  2.  Open the Tuya Smart application, create an account and log in
  3.  Add your device by tapping the + icon in the upper right corner of the screen or tapping the Add device button (this button appears when you don’t have any devices added to the app).
  4.  Select the option Security&Video surveillance on the left side of the screen
  5.  From the list of devices on the right side of the screen, select the Smart doorbell option
  6.  With a sharp object, long press the Reset button on the door phone.
  7.  The door phone enters the configuration state.
  8.  In the next interface, select the QR Code option in the upper right corner, then check Make sure the indicator is flashing quickly or a prompt tone is heard.
  9.  Select the WiFi network you want to connect to and enter the password.
  10.  Move the QR code closer to the door phone’s camera 15-20 cm away.
  11.  In the door phone you will hear the Connecting to WiFi prompt.
  12.  The application will scan nearby devices.
  13.  After identifying your door phone, you will hear the Camera is now online prompt.
  14.  In the application, you will see the message Added successfully. Click on Done to return to the home interface.
    Note:
    after adding the door phone in the application, other users will be able to add it in their phone, only if you activate the Share device option.PNI-

Remote control via Tuya Smart

Motion detection
If the motion detection function has been activated and a visitor will pass in front of the intercom, the intercom will exit standby mode and enter recording mode. Press the icon to set the detection sensitivity.

Unlock the electric lock
Press the icon to unlock the electric lock connected to the door phone.

Intercom
You can remotely talk to the visitor by clicking on the icon

Reset

Method 1:
Delete the door phone from the application. The intercom will reset.
Method 2:
Long press the key Reset on the back of the door phone.
Note:
If you use method 2 to reset the device, the door phone can be added again only in the phone where it was originally added. If other users try to add the door phone, they will receive the message The device is bound. We recommend deleting the device from the application to allow other users to add the door phone to their phone.

Troubleshooting

The door phone is offline Check if the router has internet access. If so, reset the door phone and add it back to the application.The motion sensor sends false alarm to check if the sunlight hits the sensor directly. Adjust the sensitivity to movement by application. By default, the sensitivity is on the medium level.The door phone cannot be added to the application door phone is linked to another Tuya account. Ask the original user to delete the door phone from their Tuya account. In order to delete it, the status of the door phone must be Online. The electric lock won’t unlock Check the connection between the door phone and the lock. Cables that are too long or too thin can cause problems with the lock.The door phone is powered by batteries that do not provide enough voltage to unlock the lock.
