Product Usage Instructions
- Remove the scale from its case and place it on a smooth, flat surface.
- Press the ON/OFF key to power on the scale. The LCD display should show “0.00”.
- Use the UNIT/SHIFT key to choose between pounds (lbs) and kilograms (kgs).
- When charging refrigerant, place cylinder in the center of the scale (do not place a cylinder over 220 lbs / 100 kgs as this may damage the scale).
- When recovering refrigerant, place the tank in the center of the scale. Scale will display gross weight of tank and recovered refrigerant.
- If charging refrigerant, place the cylinder in the center of the scale. Do not place a cylinder over 220 lbs / 100 kgs as this may damage the scale.
- If recovering refrigerant, place the tank in the center of the scale. The scale will display the gross weight of the tank and the recovered refrigerant.
- When finished, press the TARE/ZERO key to reset the scale to “0.00”.
- Power off the scale using the ON/OFF key when finished using it.
It is important to properly maintain and store the scale to ensure its accuracy and longevity. Keep it clean and dry, and avoid exposing it to moisture or extreme temperatures. When not in use, store the scale in its case or in a dry, protected location.
