Safety Precaution
For your safety, the information in this manual must be followed to minimize
the risk of fire or explosion, electric shock, or to prevent property damage,
personal injury or loss of life.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have een given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
The new hose-sets supplied with the appliance are to be used and that old
hose-sets should not be reused.
The openings must not be obstructed by a carpet.
This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications
such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments;
- areas for communal use in blocks of flats or in launderettes.

Do not dismantle the machine by yourself.
Do not install the machine in damp or rainy environment to avoid electric shock, fire, machine failure,or deformation.
Do not place inflammable materials like burning candle, mosquito incense, cigaret etc. or heating source like electric stove, calorifier etc. on the machine.
Do not spray water directly to the machine.
Do not let baby sit on it or place heavy things on it.
Do not wash clothes that are stained with kerosene, petrol, alcohol, and other flammable substance.
Make sure that the water inlet hose is connected and the tap is opened before washing.
Do not exceed the max. water level to avoid water overflowing and machine failure.
To avoid electric shock, please ensure the plug is placed firmly into the power socket.
Do not let children climb into the machine or play nearby when it is in operation.
If using warm water, the temperature should not exceed 50 ‘C.
Do not wash down-filled coat,raincoat or similar clothes.
Wipe dirt dust off the power plug to avoid poor contact with the power socket.
Ensure hands are not placed in the drum when machine is in operation.
Do not replace power cord by yourself.
Do not damage the power cord and plug so to avoid electric shock, short circuit or fire. Ensure the power plug is connected firmly. When removing the power plug from the socket, ensure the cable is not pulled. Do not insert or unplug the plug with wet hands to avoid electric shock. Unplug the plug from socket after use.
INSTALLATION
Installation Requirements
Placement of the upper drain hose
- The washing machine requires a drainage hose with a minimum 3cm diameter and flow capacity of at least 40 litres per minute.
- For this drainage method, the drain hose must be placed at least 86cm above the outlet at the bottom of the machine but should not exceed a height of 100cm.

Changing the position of the drain hose
The default setup of the drain hose will see it connected to the spin side of
the machine however it can be changed and connected to the wash side.
The method is as follows:
- Unplug the power cord and empty water in the drain hose completely.
- Spread a piece of soft cloth on the floor (e.g. a blanket) and place the washing machine on it gently.
- Take the drain hose out from the buckle at the spin side, and put it into the buckle at the wash side.
- Hang up the drain hose kit.

Installation position
In order to avoid electrical failure, discoloration and deformation, do not
install the machine in the following places:

OPERATION
Preparation Instructions
- Plug in power and connect the water inlet hose.
- Run the lower drain hose and connect it to the trap beneath the sink, or run the upper drain hose to places as indicated in page 2.
- Check that there are no objects such as coins, hairpins, mud or sand in the pocket.
- Strings should be knotted in advance to prevent entanglement.
- Clothes can be classified for washing according to the texture, colour and how dirty they are.
- Ensure small pieces of clothing are placed in a protective bag.

- The correct amount of laundry detergent to use is determined by the degree of soiling and the type of garments being washed. Always check dosage requirements on the back of the laundry detergent bottle and adjust as required.

- Water inlet: for the connection of hot or cold water.
- Wash timer: for selection of the desired wash time.
- Spin timer: for selection of the desired spin time.
- Program selector: for washing or rinsing, select “ Gentle”or“ Normal”. For Draining ,select “Drain”.
Quick Start
Washing Method
- Insert the water inlet hose into the water inlet opening, and select wash (left hand) on the Wash/Spin toggle switch.
- If soaking is required, placed articles to be washed into the drum, add detergent and fill with water to half of the desired water level. When ready to commence the wash cycle, fill up the rest of the drum with water.
- Set wash program to “Gentle” or “Normal” depending on the types of garments to be washed.
- Turn the wash timer knob to select the wash time.
- After washing has finished, set the program selector to “Drain” position for draining.
Rinsing Method
- Fill the washing drum with the desired amount of water
- Turn the “Program” knob to “Normal” or “Gentle”.
- Set the “Wash Timer” to the desired time (3 – 5 minutes for rinsing is recommended).
- After rinsing has completed, turn the “Program” knob to “Drain” to remove all water from the drum.
- Once all the water has been drained, remove items and place in the right hand side of the machine.
- If several rinsing cycles are desired, repeat steps 1 – 4.
Spinning Method
1. Shake out the laundry and place into the right hand side of the machine
(spinning drum).| 2. Place the inner spin cover on top of the laundry and

The appliance can not be used by children or persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack ofexperience and knowledge, unless
under supervision or instruction.
The new hose supplied with the appliance should be used and inspected to
ensure no cracks or leaks are present.
When filling up the washing or spin drum with water, ensure not to disconnect
the hose from the water inlet valve before turning the water off at the tap.
If the machine is vibrating during the spin cycle, open the spin cover
immediately and ensure the washing machine is placed on a flat and even
surface and that laundry inside the drum is distributed evenly.
Do not wash or spin waterproof clothes or clothes that float easily to avoid
abnormal vibration or damage to the clothes.
Energy and Water (WELS) ratings
The tests for AS/NZS 2040 & AS/NZS 6400 Energy and Water (WELS) ratings were
carried out under program normal. Below is the detail for test seting and
steps;
- Main wash: 30 min., H water level, wash temperature 40 ‘C;
- Spin: 3 min., 2 times; 4 kg test load for one turn;
- Rinse: 3 min., L water level, water temperature 20 ’C;
- Spin: 3 min., 2 times; 4 kg test load for one turn.
MAINTENANCE

After every use, it is recommended to wipe the machine down with a soft
cloth. Avoid using any corrosive or volatile chemicals so to avoid damage to
the
surface of the machine.| • Press in the clip at the top to release the lint
filter holder.
• Turn the filter net inside out, and rinse it in water.
• Re-insert the holder and clip into place.

Preventing ice in the water line
In certain areas where the temperature drops below 5˚ degrees, it is advised
to turn water off at the tap and disconnect and empty the inlet hose in
between cycles. This will prevent any water becoming frozen in the line.
After every use, the following actions are recommended:
- Disconnect the power plug.
- Remove the water inlet hose.
Notes
The washing machine employs alternative current with rated voltage and
frequency. When voltage fluctuates between -10% and 10% of the rated voltage,
the machine can work normally.
Connection mode of the power cord of this machine is Y-shaped connection.
Users should not detach or reconnectthe wire by themselves. If this part needs
to be repaired, please contact the designated service center.
- Do not connect to the hot water supply.
- After using, be sure to unplug the power plug.
- Be sure to use plug that is properly grounded.
- The maximum gradient of the supporting surface for the washing machine should not exceed 2º.
- Do not tear down electrical wires and components in the machine by yourself.
- There are holes on the base for ventilation. These holes should not be blocked by foreign objects (carpets, etc.).
- Never connect the grounding wire with the live wire, or it may lead to an electric shock.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified technician to avoid a hazard.
If the following symptoms occur, please disconnect the power plug and perform the following checks:

• Check that there are no washing materials or foaming debris dropped into
the outside of the spin tub.

Euromaid Express Warranty
Subject to the exclusions below, we warrant that the product will not have any electrical or mechanical breakdowns within:
a) In the case of Euromaid products used for personal, domestic or household purposes, a period of 2 years from the date the product is purchased as a brand-new product from a retailer located in Australia / New Zealand.
b) In the case of Euromaid products used for purposes other than personal, domestic or household purposes (including business or commercial use), a period of 90 days from the date the product is purchased as a brand-new product from a retailer located in Australia / New Zealand.
Euromaid products are designed and intended for domestic use only; and
c) All warranty repairs must be carried out by Glen Dimplex or their nominated service agent Note: warranty periods detailed above may vary in line with agreements with select retail and builder partners and may differ between Australia and New Zealand.
The benefits conferred by this express warranty are in addition to the Consumer Guarantees referred to in section 3 and any other statutory rights you may have under the Australian / New Zealand Consumer Law and/or other applicable laws. -
Warranty exclusions
This express warranty does not apply where:
a) The product has been installed, used or operated otherwise than in accordance with the product manual or other similar documentation provided to you with the product;
b) The product requires repairs due to damage resulting from accident, misuse, incorrect installation, insect or vermin infestation, improper liquid spillage, cleaning or maintenance, unauthorised modification, use on an incorrect voltage, power surges and dips, voltage supply problems, tampering or unauthorised repairs by any persons, use of defective or incompatible accessories or exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions, events independent of human control which occurred after the goods left the control of Glen Dimplex.
c) The repair relates to the replacement of consumable parts such as fuses and bulbs or any other parts of the product which require routine replacement;
d) You are unable to provide us with reasonable proof of purchase for the product;
e) the breakdown occurs after the expiry of the express warranty period set out in section 1 or
f) the product was not purchased in Australia / New Zealand as a brand-new product.. -
Consumer guarantees
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian / New Zealand Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. -
How to make a claim
You may make a claim under this warranty through our website, contacting our customer care line or via email. Contact details for Glen Dimplex Australia and New Zealand can be found at the end of this document.
To make a valid claim under this warranty, you must:
a) Lodge the claim with us as soon as possible and no later than 14 days after you first become aware of the breakdown;
b) Provide us with the product serial number;
c) Provide us with reasonable proof of purchase for the product. This can take the form of a store receipt, new home handover form or other payment receipt documentation; and
d) If required by us, provide us (or any person nominated by us) with access to the premises at which the product is located at times nominated by us (so that we can inspect the product). -
Warranty claims
If you make a valid claim under this warranty and none of the exclusions set out in section 2 apply, we will, at our election, either repair the product or replace the product with a product of identical specification (or where the product is superseded or no longer in stock, with a product of as close a specification as possible).
Goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods. Products are designed and supplied for normal domestic use. We will not be liable to you under this warranty for business loss or damage of any kind whatsoever.
