46 CM Classic Aluminium Wheelchair
All serious accidents concerning the medical device supplied by us must be
reported to the manufacturer and competent authority of the member state where
your registered office is located.
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing one of our products. The wheelchairs have been
designed and manufactured to meet all your needs for practical, correct and
safe use. This manual contains some suggestions for a correct use of the
device and valuable advice for your safety. We recommend to read all the
manual carefully before using the item. In case of any doubts, please contact
the dealer, who will be able to advise you correctly.
Note: Check all parts to verify it won’t be any shipping damage. In case
of any damages, do not use it. Contact the dealer for further instructions

INTCO MEDICAL declare under sole responsibility that the products that belong
to wheelchairs range are in accordance with the European Directive on Medical
devices
(93/42/EEC).
INTCO MEDICAL guarantees and declared under sole responsibility what follow:
- The devices under discussion satisfy the essential requisites requested by the I enclosure directive 93/42/CEE as laid down by the VII enclosure of the above mentioned Directive.
- The devices under discussion belong to class I.
- It is NOT PERMITTED to use this devices outside the intended use envisaged by DEMARTA VIRGINIO SAS.
- The articles also comply with all European standards applicable to them.
USE
The wheelchairs are an essential way of transport for disabled people with
none or limited walking ability.The purpose is to facilitate autonomous
movements and to safeguard the physical wellbeing of the person, avoiding the
appearance of complications related to the sitting position (bed sores,
chronic postural pains …).
WARNINGS
- Advise with physician or therapist to determinate the correct adjustment and the correct use.
- Always pay attention to the presence of moving parts that could cause limb entrapment and injury.
- Pay particular attention to wet surfaces.
- It is recommended to pay attention to the entrapment of the fingers in some parts such as wheels or brakes when using the wheelchair.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

To install the footrests, align the holes in the supports with their pins on the wheelchair frame, and then rotate the footrest inward by correctly hooking the locking lever into the wheelchair frame. Press the button placed at the center of the wheels and slide out.
To re-insert the wheels, press the central button and insert the pin on the
hole frame.
USE
Get on the wheelchair
- Move the wheelchair close to the patient.
- Lock the brakes of the rear wheels; it is advisable to remove the armrest from the side. Lean on the frame, making force on the arms, then slowly go down towards the seat.
Get off the wheelchair
- Approach as close to a new seat as possible.
- Lock the brakes of the rear wheels; remove the armrest from the side. Rest your arms on the frame of the seat on which you must move and then lift slowly towards it.
IMPORTANT! Assistance or supervision of qualified personnel is necessary to avoid slips and falls.
MOVEMENT
Hold the handrail of the rear wheels and push in the desired direction.
If it necessary, the healthcare staff or the caregiver can push the wheelchair
by the knobs on the backrest.
CLEANING
Use a damp cloth with mild soap, the water temperature not above 30°C. Dry
well before use. If necessary, disinfect the product using a common
disinfectant detergent. Do not use water and/or steam jet washing machines.
Must not use acid, alkaline or solvent products such as acetone.
GENERAL DISPOSAL CONDITIONS
When disposing of the device, never use housing solid waste collection
systems.
It is necessary to dispose of the device through the common ecological islands
common for the recycling of used materials
