DRONE OVERVIEW

SCOOT OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS

HOW DOES SCOOT FLY?

First, turn me on in a room with lots of space …
When my center light is solid green, drop me and I’ll soar and race!

You can prepare to catch me, just to be safe …
But, if I’m turned on and charged up, I’ll hover in place!

WHAT’S SCOOT DOING NOW?

I automatically rotate to sense the room so I don’t crash when I want to zoom!

If I sense something nearby, I’ll change direction as I fly!

FLIGHT DIRECTION CONTROLS

HOW IS SCOOT CONTROLLED?

Put your hand up when I’m close, I’ll know what you mean!

You’ll be telling me which way to lean!

CAN SCOOT GO HIGHER?

Put your hand under me when I’m close by.

I’ll sense your request and rise as I fly!

HOW DOES SCOOT STOP?

If it’s time to stop flying around …

Gently “catch” me and turn me upside down!

WHAT ELSE TO KNOW ABOUT SCOOT?

My center light solid red when my battery is low.

If I crash, no worries! Toss me up and I’ll go!

HOW DOES SCOOT FLIP?

Wanna see me flip while I’m in mid-glide?

I need to sense your hands, one on each side.

When my light flickers white, I’m ready to roll… Just brush your hand under me, I’ll flip with control

If you’re having trouble performing this trick, Watch my video {p. 12), you’ll pick it up quick.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEM SOLUTION
How does Scoot turn on? “My ON/OFF switch is on the opposite side of my

charger port. See the diagram on Page 7.”
Why doesn’t Scoot charge?| “Start by ensuring I am turned off prior to charging. My USB plug will turn red when it’s plugged into a power source; the light will stay on while I’m charging. When I’m fully charged, the light on the USB will turn off.”
Why does Scoot crash?| “I don’t mean to! Make sure you ore in a spacious room, I con easily change direction when I sense on obstacle. If the space is too small, I might try to change directions too quickly. I may also need to be calibrated. Instructions for this are on Page 5.”
What if Scoot goes too fast?| “I always try to avoid any obstacles: walls, furniture, people, solid objects. Sometimes, I like to zoom! Make sure the room we’re in has a good amount of airspace for my flight path.”
How durable is Scoot?| “I’m pretty tough, but please be gentle! A little toss is all it takes to launch me. “Catch” me out of the air quickly and turn me upside down to stop me. Always make sure you’re in a safe, dear flight area before relaunching me.”
Where can Scoot fly?| “I like to explore, but I can get pretty adventurous! I’m at my best indoors, with plenty of space.”
Can Scoot’s performance be improved?| “If you need to adjust my flight control, check out the calibration section on Page 5.”
