Piezo-ceramic Pickup
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
LAOUTO piezo pickup bar is made under high precision tests.
For safe installation remove strings and make a slot on the bridge with
adequate width for the piezo (3 mm) and a depth of (5 mm) at least. Never push
hard piezo to be in place because damage may occur. Drill a hole ( 2,3mm ) to
the end of the slot for the cable. Also drill a ( 11,5 mm ) hole for output
jack installation. Put pickup in slot and pass the cable from the bridge hole
of 2,3mm and then through the 11,5mm hole:
Solder the central wire of the pickup cable to the
central pin of the jack. Solder the shield of the cable to the outside leg of
the jack. Secure the cable properly.
Then create carefully a right saddle for the piezo and put it over into slot.
Put strings in place and tune.
