FEATURES
Telecaster lead pickup with a special combination of alnico 5 magnets positioned to deliver tighter lows and sweeter highs Comes with the more expensive Plain Enamel magnet wire. Of course the pickup is insulated and shielded to avoid unwanted microphonics. We have discovered the winding technique to achieve best quality and a full, warm sound.
The pickup has an extremely clean Tele tone for accurate and a clarity sound.
Treble response is smoother, the lows are tighter, and there is more pick
attack. Play hard, and the sound jumps out of the amp. Play softer, and the
sound becomes cleaner and quieter.
Vintage style cloth covered lead wire.
INSTALLATION
Remove the strings and the pickguard from your guitar. De-solder the guitar pickups wires. and remove pickups from the cavity. Put the TAP pickups into the pickup cavity and then solder wires. Re-string your guitar. By adjusting the pickup height, adjust the screws at both sides of the pickup, to set the height of the pickup with the string pressed at the last fret. There should be a space of 2~3mm (1/8″~1116 lh”) between the pickup and the strings.
