USE

WARNING: Use Only on CAT III Pollution 2 Location.

The power adapter is used to supply the device when it is used for an extended period. The internal battery of the PEL remains charged, enabling the device to continue to operate in the event of a power outage up to 30 minutes.

  • Connect the adapter to the voltage inputs of the PEL.
  • Connect the C7 plug from the adapter to the  input of the PEL.
  • Connect the voltage inputs to the adapter, following the markings on the adapter. Connect the current inputs directly to the PEL, per normal operation (see the illustration on page 5).

The L1 and N or L1 and L2 voltage inputs must be connected for the adapter to operate.

The adapter can operate on (50 and 60) Hz networks.

MAINTENANCE

This instrument contains no parts that can be replaced by personnel who have not been specially trained and accredited. Any unauthorized repair or replacement of a part by an equivalent may impair the safety rating.
Cleaning: Disconnect all inputs to the device and remove from the PEL. Clean with a soft cloth moistened with soapy water. Wipe dry completely.
