Gskyer Sky Explorer 130EQ Professional Astronomical Reflector Telescope
QUICK SET -UP GUIDE
Your130EQ includes: Stainless steel tripod finders -cope, finder scope case. equatorial mount,3pieces inverting eyepiece, 1 erecting eyepiece, 3Xbarlow lens ,2 counter weights, counter weight bar,2slow motion cables, accessory tray.
To set up the tripod ,spread the legs outward until they are fully extended. Extend the center portion of each of the three tripod lens down 6-12″.
Use the three tightening screws located at the bottom of each leg to secure the extended legs in place.
All three legs should be the same length to provide a level platform for the telescope.
To attach the accessory tray. line up notches and turn clockwise until tray tabs lock into place with the tripod brackets. Properly assembled the accessory tray should appear as pictured above .
Locate the equatorial mount and place the base of the mount through the hole in the center of the tripod mounting platform.
From underneath the tripod mounting platform, thread the mounting nut into the threaded hole on the bottom of the equatorial mount.
Thread the latitude adjustment screw into the Put the counterweight bar through! the hole in equatorial mount until the screw is touching the the center of counterweight. inside of the mount.
Put the counterweight bar through! the hole in equatorial mount until the screw is touching the the center of counterweight.
Tighten the threaded end of counterweight bar into the equatorial mount. The 2 counterweights need to be installed on130EQ telescope .
As picture show: loosen hard screw1 adjust the 2 counterweights on the right to make main barrel and counterweights balance and tighten the hard screw2.
Slide the chrome end of the slow motion control cable and tighten the screw.
Assemble another slow motion control cable.
Tighten the set screw.
Place the telescope tube on the equatorial mount so that the tube is facing forward as pictured above .

Tighten the screw on finder scope base.
Pull down the metal stretching screw and slide finder scope into the hole on base.
As shown:3pieces of standard eyepieces,(25mm, 10mm, 5mm), 1 piece of black erecting eyepiece. Please use the erecting eyepiece .when observing the target on the ground. Use the Inverting eyepiece when observing the astronomy.
As shown: screw off the metallic sheath of the inverting eyepiece which is 25mm or 10mm or 5mm.
You can switch the black erecting eyepiece freely. Install the black erecting eyepiece and switch under the inverting eyepiece of 25mm or 10mm or 5mm .meanwhile the inverting eyepiece of 25mm or 10mm or 5mm is switched as the erecting eyepiece .
Open the cover of the optical tube when using. when the observation is end. please lid the optical tube in order to stop the dust coming.
You can also use the eyepiece with 3X Barlow lens .but it ‘s hard to adjust.
You are now ready to start using you telescope. adjust the focus when observing until the target is clear.
When you use in case of hand wheel slippage, please use special tool rotate tightly top screw. If you want to fix focus front cylinder position , you can lock tightly the hand screw. While you watching the lens to clear image focusing
Warning: Prohibit adjustment screws surrounding the main tube that changes the optical axis, can not see anything.
TIPS: Associations barrel surrounding the fixing screes precision optical systems, will lead to change the optical axis ,non-professionals don’t attempt to adjust.
WARNING: Never attempt to view the sun through any telescope without proper filtering!
