Introduction

The Woox radiator valve is easy to install and can be done without draining heating water or intervening in the heating system. No special tools are required, nor does the heating have to be switched off.

The radiator valve do not have to fit on the heating valve with an adapter. Without adapter, it fits on valve thread size M30x1.5 (30 mm diameter, 1.5 mm deep). Radiators with this thread should be installed in most modern homes.

Requirement to use

  1. Woox home app
  2. Woox zigbee gateway (not included)

Power on

  1. Install AA battery into radiator valve to power on it;

  2. LCD full display for 2 seconds;

  3. Display equipment version number for 2 seconds;

  4. Enters into installation status after displaying “InS” for 2 seconds.

  5. Before installation, you can set up the date and time or you can skip the time setting by holding press the confirm button for 3 seconds.

  6. Time setting by manual: date and time can be set while the motor returns to its original position.
    Use rotary knob to modify date and time, and conduct a short press on the confirm button to confirm and jump to the next modification.

    • Year: (2019-2099) default value is 2019
    • Month: (1-12)
    • Day: (1-31) automatically adjust day numbers of this month
    • according to the year and month.
    • Hour: (0-23)
    • Minute: (0-59)
  7. the screen will display “AdA” after valve enters into installation status, while if valve fails to enter into installation status after data setting is completed, the screen will have a scrolling display for “InS” and “n”.

Installation

  1. It’s ready to install radiator valve on pipe when screen displays “AdA”.
  2. If needed, place the supplied support ring into flange for improving stability or Danfoss adapter to radiator valve.WOOX-R7067-Smart-Radiator-Valve-3
  3. Install the radiator valve to pipe valve. Take care during installation that you do not trap your fingers between the two halves of the adapter!
  4. After installation, press confirm key to enter into adaptive state.
  5. Adaptive operation: the screen has a scrolling display for “AdA” and “Π”. Equipment checks assembly during the process; if any problem, the screen will display “F1”, “F2” “F3” and “F4” errors; if assembly is correct, equipment will enter into normal display mode.

Notes:

  • F1—If valve is driven slowly, check whether valve is jammed;
  • F2—If actuation range is too wide, check whether valve is not installed in place, whether the screw is tightened.
  • F3—If adjustment range is too small, check whether heating valve is blocked and valve resistance is too large.
  • F4— The valve is not installed.

Set up the smart radiator valve with Woox home app

  1. Please make sure radiator valve is installed on pipe properly before pairing it with Woox home app.
  2. Download and install the app “WOOX Home” from Apple App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device.
  3. Launch the app “WOOX Home”.
  4. Create a new account or log in to your existing account.
  5. Tap “+” to add the device.
  6. Select the applicable product type from the list of products.
  7. Select a Zigbee Gateway.
  8. Enter pairing mode: hold press the confirm button of radiator valve for 5 seconds until the screen display “PAIR” for 1 second, it means the device is in pairing mode.
  9. Press confirm button in the Woox home app.
  10. The app will now search for the device and register is to your account.
  11. Enter the device name.
    Note: The device name will also be used by Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
