SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Respect the operating times  of the accessories indicated in their specific sections of the manual.
Proceed according to maintenance and cleaning section of this manual for cleaning.
Warning: potential injury from misuse!
Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use.
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
This appliance is intended for use at a maximum altitude of 2000m above sea level.

IMPORTANT WARNINGS

This appliance is designed for home use and should never be used for commercial or industrial use under any circumstances. Any incorrect use or improper handling of the  product shall render the warranty null and void.
Prior to plugging in the product, check that your mains voltage is the same as the one indicated on the product label.
The mains connection cable must not be tangled or wrapped around the product during use.
Do not use the device, or connect and disconnect to the supply mains with the hands and / or feet wet.
Do not pull on the connection cord in order to unplug it or use it as a handle Unplug the product immediately from the mains in the event of any breakdown or damage and contact an official technical support service. In order to prevent any risk of danger, do not open the device. Only qualified technical personnel from the brand´s Official  technical support service may carry out repairs or procedures on the device.
B&B TRENDS SL disclaims all liability for damages that may occur to people, animals or objects, for the non-observance of these warnings.

HOW TO USE THE MACHINE

  1. In order to lift the arm, clockwise rotation the Rise knob (2) . The arm will now move upwards. (RC. 1) (Step1)

  2. Place the pot cover into its body. (RC. 2) (Step2)

  3. Place the mixing bowl into its holding device (RC. 3) (Step3) and turn the bowl clockwise until it locks into place (RC. 3) (Step4).

  4. Mount the required utensil (Dough hook or Beater or Whisk) by inserting the top into the output shaft (RC. 4) (Step5) and turn anti-clockwise until it locks into place  (RC. 5) (Step6).

  5. Now fill in your ingredients.
    Do not overfill the machine – the maximum quantity of ingredients is 1.5 kg.

  6. Clockwise rotation the Rise knob (2): Press the head of the machine, the machine will automatically lock the rise button (2) (RC. 6) (Step7), which is in the horizontal  position. If you didn’t clockwise rotation the rise button (2), you can’t press the head of the machine, finally the rise button (2) return to the vertical position when the rise button (2) is locked.

  7. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed 220-240V 50-60 Hz safety power socket.

  8. Switch the machine using the speed knob to a speed between 1 and 10 (corresponding to the mixture).

  9. For pulse operation (kneading at short intervals), turn the switch to the “PULSE” position. The switch has to be held in this position according to the desired interval  length. When the switch is released it returns automatically to the “0” position.

  10. After kneading/stirring turn the speed knob (3) back to the “0” position as soon as the mixture has formed a ball. Then remove the mains plug.

  11. Push the rise knob (2) downwards and the arm will be raised.

  12. The mixture can now be released with the help of a spatula and removed from the mixing bowl.

  13. The mixing bowl can now be removed.

  14. Clean the parts as described under “Cleaning” .

ANALYSIS OF COMMON PROBLEMS

Problem Causes Solutions
The machine suddenly stops working during use. It may be that the machine

CLEANING

Body Cleaning| 1. Do not immerse the machine in the water. Do not use water to shower di- erectly on top of the machine to prevent the host body from entering the water to avoid short circuits, electric shock, leakage, rust, and other failures.
2. Do not use a dripping wet towel to wipe the machine
3. Do not use detergent/vinegar/salt and other corrosive, strongly acidic, strong alkaline cleaning products to clean the machine body, otherwise aces- sable to damage the machine’s surface.
4. Do not use sharp and rough tools such as wire balls to brush the access- stories. Otherwise, it is easy to damage the surface of the accessories.

Accessory Cleaning| 1. Do not put the cast aluminum parts into the dishwasher or wash them with corrosive, strongly acidic, or alkaline cleaning products. Please do not put them into the dishwasher for cleaning. (Except for stainless steel parts or surface-treated Teflon parts and electrophoresis parts)
2. Do not soak for a long time in detergent, saltwater, vinegar, and other corrosive liquids; use in time to clean accessories.
3. After cleaning, dry the accessories, mainly to keep the internal parts dry in time.
Special Cleaning| 1. The rotating output shaft will produce a bit of black trace due to high speed and friction when the machine is working. After each use, please clean it promptly and keep the part dry.
2. Pay attention to the sharp blade and related sharp edge parts or access- stories.
Preservation and maintop- nonce| 1. You can use olive oil to apply on the blade’s surface, knife plate, and mixing pot to ensure the dry and wet environment to oxidize it.
2. When not in use, you can cover the machine with a packaging bag and place it in a dry environment.

PRODUCT DISPOSAL

This product complies with European Directive 2012/19/EU on electrical and electronic devices, known as WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), provides the legal framework applicable in the European Union for the disposal and reuse of waste electronic and electrical devices. Do not dispose of this product in the bin, instead  going to the electrical and electronic waste collection center closest to your home.

WARRANTY REPORT

B&B TRENDS, S.L. guarantees compliance of this product for the use for which it is intended for a period of two years. In the case of breakdown during the term of this  warranty, users are entitled to repair or else the replacement of the product at no charge if the former is unavailable, unless one of these options proves impossible to fulfill or  is disproportionate. In this case, you can then opt for a reduction in price or cancellation of the sale, which must be dealt with directly with the sales vendor. This also  covers replacement of spare parts provided that the product has been used according to the recommendations specified in this manual for both cases, and has not been  tampered with by any third party that is not authorised by B&B TRENDS, S.L. The warranty will not cover any parts subject to wear and tear. This warranty does not affect  your rights as a consumer in accordance with the provisions in Directive 1999/44/EC for member states of the European Union.

USE OF WARRANTY

Customers must contact a B&B TRENDS, S.L. authorised Technical Service for repair of the product.
Since any tampering of the same by anyone not authorised by B&B TRENDS, S.L., or the careless or improper use of the same shall render this warranty null and void. The  warranty must be fully completed and delivered along with the receipt or delivery docket for the effective exercise of rights under this warranty.
This warranty should be retained by the user as well as the invoice, receipt or the delivery docket to facilitate the exercise of these rights. For technical service and after-sales  care outside the Polish territory, please submit your query to the point of sale where you purchased the item or check for further aftersales information at www.zelmer.com
