Important Notice

This product is intended for use in motor vehicles only.DO
NOT install the camera where it might block the driver’s view of the road (including the mirrors) or the deployment of the airbag. -
Before using this camera, please format the memory card in the computer (select 32 KB unit size to format it), then insert the memory card first, and format the memory card in camera menu.

This camera records video at high resolution, Be sure to use U3 high speed Micro SD card, memory card with writing speed over Class 10 or above is recommended, 32GB to 128GB cards are recommended.

For safety reasons, this camera has a relatively small built-in battery. It’s used only for parking monitor(optional) and save the video file after external power supply cuts off ( car turns off).

Make sure the camera lens is clean and there is nothing blocking the lens.

DO NOT leave the camera in direct sunlight for a long period of time or where the temperature could go above 170F (75°C).

The camera is equipped with internal GPS function.

Button and function description
Set up and installation
When the machine is charging, it will record video automatically, if you want to end or stop recording, please press “OK”button.
Set Up and Installation
- Use the 3M holder sticker mount or suction cup mount to install the DC12 dash cam on the windshield, The recommended location is near the rearview mirror facing front, adjust the lens angle for the best coverage.
- Plug the included power adapter into the car cigarette lighter socket, the indicator will light up, which means the power is on.
- Connect the power adapter and the dash cam, and route the excess cable alongside the interior trim for better looking.
- Install the rear view camera on the back of the car (usually under the license plate), adjust the lens angle for the best coverage, and then connect the rearview camera connector to the main engine.
- Start your car, the camera will automatically power on, check the lens angle and coverage, make sure all functions work well before going on the road.
Special Function Description
- G-sensor function
- When gravity acceleration (lg = 9.80 M / S” 2), the machine will automatically lock the video file when the accident occurs and save it as an Undeletable file; G-sensor gravity sensor can be selected from the menu. This machine is equipped with the option of Off/ Low/ Medium/ High gear 4, the factory default is medium grade.
- One button lock function In the process of recording, press the menu button briefly, the camera will save the current video as a file that cannot be deleted and this icon will be displayed on the screen.
- Auto on / off Support the car power, auto start video after the car starts, auto save and auto shut down after the car flameout;
- WiFi function
(1) After power on, the machine automatically turns on WiFi by default
(2) In standby mode, press the function button, press the menu button to enter the menu option, select the WiFi function option and press “OK” button to enter the WiFi mode, as shown in the following figure:
Through the mobile phone opp, you can connect and operate the mobile phone.
(3) In standby mode, short press the up button to open WiFi ode.
- Rear view First of all, the car charger must be connected to the recorder, the rear camera is inserted into the back camera interface, and the red wire on the rear camera is connected to the positive pole of the reversing lamp. The car charging will automatically start recording. In any state, if there is reversing, the reversing image will be displayed. The machine will automatically return to the recording mode after the end of reversing video.
Application Installation and WiFi Connection Instructions:

For Android smartphones, please go to the software store to search “roadcam”, directly to download and install. For 10S smartphones or iPad, please go to the Apple store directly searches “roadcam” to download and install.

1n the standby mode, press the menu button to enter the menu option, select the WiFi function option and press “OK ” button to enter the WiFi mode. At this time, the WiFi open icon will appear on the screen, and the SSID hotspot name and pwa2 password will be displayed on the screen

0pen the WiFi connection on the mobile phone, and the mobile phone will automatically search for WiFi hotspots. The name of SSID hotspots is NVT **

After connecting WiFi, you can click to open the opp (roadcam) program downloaded and installed in advance.

After opening the opp, click the Yellow camera icon below to connect, as shown in the figure below:

App Interface Icon Instructions:
- Recorder function setting Icon: Click to enter the recorder to set various menu functions
- Disconnect the device: Click to disconnect the opp from the device
- Recording time: the display time of the recording
- Picture playback: Click to view the pictures online and download them to the mobile phone for sharing
- Camera: Click to record or stop
- Video playback: Click to view the video online and download it to the mobile phone for sharing
- Photograph: Click to take a picture
Basic Operation Instructions for Dashcam Photography:
- Start and shut down Press the power button to start the power supply, and the power indicator will be on when it is started; Press the power button to turn off after power, and the light will go out.
- Camera mode Press Menu/Mode button for a long time to switch to camera mode, press “OK” button to start shooting, video icon • will start flashing, and blue indicator light starts flashing to enter video working mode.
- Photo mode Press Menu/Mode button for a long time to switch to photo mode, press “OK “button for photo taking, and the screen flashes once during taking photos, indicating that the photo is completed.
- Video / photo playback Press Menu/Mode button for a long time to switch to playback mode, and the playback icon is displayed in the upper left corner of the screen; Press up to select the file up; Press the down button to select the file down; Press “OK “to play the selected video file;
- Menu settings Press Menu/Mode button to call up the setting menu; By pressing up or down button briefly, you can cycle up and down selection in each setting item; Select the setting item to change, and press “OK” to enter the change;
- Exit the setup menu Press Menu/Mode button to exit the setting status;
Time Setting
- Press Menu/Mode button to enter the setting item continuously, press “Down” button to select date setting, press “OK” button to enter, and short press “OK”button to switch between year/month/day/hour/minute/second. Adjust the required value by Up / Down button, confirm modification by short press “OK” button, and then press Menu/Mode button to exit time setting.
- When the machine is connected to WiFi, the time will be automatically updated Note: when the product is used, the machine will be on due to improper operation. Press the reset button to start up again, and then it can be restored to normal.
Installation Guide

Turn off the engine of the car.

Insert TF card into the recorder card slot.
[Note] Please use high speed TF card (Cl0 above) -
Fix the recorder on the windshield of the car.

Insert the car charger into the cigarette lighter.
-
Connect the USB interface of recorder with charger on board with charging extension cable. [Note] During wiring, the charging extension line can be laid along the edge of the windshield.

Install the rear camera at the rear of the vehicle, pay attention to the direction when installing. The wiring can be laid along the roof of the vehicle. After installation, connect the pull back plug to the recorder pull back interface

Adjust the lens position to ensure the lens is level with the ground.

Atart the engine and check whether the machine is installed correctly.
[Note] When the machine is installed correctly, the system operation indicator light will be on; The machine starts to enter the record state, and the video indicator light flashes. Please note that the screen on the display is normal.

Common Problems and Solutions:
0 Even though set the screen saver, but the screen will randomly.
A: The power supply might not be stable, please change another car charger to
try.
Q: Why dash cam drain car battery?
A: Please check whether the cigarette lighter still is on after you turn off
car engine.
Q: The camera keeps starting and off?
A: That could be the parking monitor function being triggered, check the setup
menu.
Q: The dash cam will stop automatically while recording.
A: 1. Check whether the memory card is full.
2. Check whether the Micro SD card is high-speed above C10.
3. Check the memory card, there might be too many locked videos that the loop
recording won’t work right.
4. Check the car charger connection status, if the connection is loose, the
power supply is not stable, the camera will automatically turn off.
Q: If the video played on the computer is somehow not
fluent or jammed.
A: 1. Try to play the video with other video players, like
Potplayer or VLCplayer.2. Format your Micro SD card in the
camera.3. Run speed test on the memory card to make sure
the memory card fits the requirement: Write Speed is over
1OMB/S.
Q: There is stripes interference in the image. There should be wrong light
frequency.
A: According to the local main frequency, make the appropriate settings S0HZ
or 6OHZ.
Q: Without an external power supply, the camera only lasts a very short time,
or it just can’t turn on.
A: The built-in battery is very small for safety reasons, not designed to work
alone, so please keep it connected to external power supply.
Q: What should I do if the machine screen prompts a card error when I start
recording.
A: 1. After formatting the memory card on the computer, then format the memory
card in the camera menu.
2. Maybe your memory card may be damaged, please eplace the memory card
