Trulife FH400 Matrix Pace
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Fitting Instructions

Remove inlay and place the Matrix Pace inside the shoe.

Place inlay over the top of the footplate. The inlay can be custom, off- the-shelf, or supplied with the users footwear.

Insert foot into the shoe with the laces loosened, feed the strap through the slot in the calf band and fasten the strap.

Check fit:
- Perform trial walking as above. Ensure the knee is not hyperextended.
- Check footwear is not overly distorted.
- Ensure the patient is comfortable and there are no areas of pressure which may lead to lasting sores, or ulcerations.

Make adjustments if needed:
- The strap can be adjusted to the required size by removing the fastening tab and trimming the strap with scissors, or
- By adjusting the position of the double-sided hook and loop fastener at the other end of the strap.
- The inlay can also be bonded to the Matrix Pace’s footplate to secure its position, if desired.
Matrix Family Product Guidelines
Matrix products are manufactured from advanced composite materials and are designed to promote dynamic walking in patients with foot drop and may also be used to address other bio-mechanical deficits.
Footwear selection: For optimal performance and durability of the Matrix
range, footwear should have a firm heel counter, non-slip flexible sole, and
enough room to accommodate the orthosis. Boots and high heels should not be
worn. Matrix products must not be used without footwear.
The product must NOT be used for running, squatting, kneeling, climbing ladders, or climbing stairs by loading the footplate unevenly.
Care of your Matrix Pace
Matrix products should be used only as directed by a medical practitioner.
The products should be regularly cleaned by wiping with a damp cloth and hand
washing the removable pad and strap.
Discontinue use immediately if you notice any excessive skin redness,
abrasion, or irritation.
Please dispose of your Matrix Pace in accordance with local and national laws
and regulations.
