PA-1 Multi-Effects Headphone Guitar Amplifiers
Thank you for purchasing the PA-1 headphone guitar amplifiers. PA-1 is a comprehensive guitar effects with multiple functions. PA-1 has 10 factory presets, users can edit the presets to overlay storage, and the operation method is simple and intuitive. The extremely small body contains a wealth  of effect energy, and has a very good performance in timbre effects! PA-1 also has a built-in power supply battery, which can be used continuously  for 5 hours when fully charged. The PA-1 is designed for 3.5 headphone output, which is not bothersome and very convenient to use.
PA-icontains 10 classic PREAMP, two commonly used modulation effects CHORUS&PHASER, a TAPE ECHO effect, a HALL REVERB effect,  10 classic IR cabinet simulations, and a high precision TUNER. In addition, PA-1 also has high-quality mobile phone recording, wireless music  playback and other functions in one. PA-1 is small in size, good in performance, easy to carry, and excellent in tone. Power Supply:

  • This machine is equipped with a built-in battery for power supply, which can last for 5 hours when fully charged. After the battery Is consumed due to use, please use the USB 2.0 cable that comes with the machine to connect the charging port of the machine (please refer to the third  item title @) to A charger below 6V (similar to a mobile phone charger) for charging, this device supports fast charging.
  • You can directly use the mobile phone power bank to directly supply power to the device, and the device supports charging/power synchronization.
  • The charging time of this device depends on the output power of the charging transformer. Taking a charging head with an output power of  DC 5.0V/2.0A as an example, it can be charged when the built-in battery of this device is exhausted. Generally, it can be fully charged in 2  hours.

Precautions:

  • Miln the process of using this product, if the system freezes or indirectly fails, please keep pressing the(On/Off @button for 10 seconds and  then release it. This operation is a forced restart of the device.

Connection reminder:
When the effector is connected to headphones, power amplifier equipment or disconnected, please be sure to turn off the power and other  equipment, which will help prevent equipment failure and damage to other equipment.

Placement:
In order to prevent deformation, discoloration and other damage to the product, please avoid the following situations;

  • Heat source
  • High temperature and humidity
  • Dust or dirty place
  • Magnetic field
  • Direct sunlight
  • High humidity
  • Strong vibration or shaking

  1. Effect parameter prompt light: In the PRESET mode, it is the presets position display, if you change the master volume, it will display the  volume a few seconds,.in the EDIT mode it is the effect parameter display.

  2. Guitar tuning note name table: In order from right to left, the far right is the guitar 1 string note name, and the far left is the guitar 6 string note name.

  3. button:(long press) button.
    In PRESET mode (short press) to switch the previous preset.
    In the EDIT mode (short press), select the effect module for scrolling up.

  4. button:(long press) Preset button.
    In PRESET mode (short press) to switch to the next preset.
    In EDIT mode (short press), select the effect module for scrolling down.

  5. Effect module indicator: In PRESET mode, it indicates the effect module link.
    In the EDIT mode, it prompts the currently selected effect module.
    In TUNER mode, it functions as a tuning table.

  6. button: (long press) Enter the bypass function.
    In PRESET mode (short press) to reduce the master volume.
    In EDIT mode(short press)to reduce the effect module parameters.

  7. Charging indicator light: It lights up when charging, and automatically goes out to stop charging when fully charged.

  8. button: (long press) Enter  the tuner mode, in PRESET mode (short press) to increase the master volume.
    In EDIT mode (short press) to increase the effect module parameters.

  9. Edit indicator: It is off in the PRESET mode, and it is light in the EDIT mode.

  10. Bypass/Tuner indicator: It lights up blue in Bypass mode, red in Tuner mode, and off in other modes.

  11. BT indicator light: Wireless music link indicator light. This indicator light flashes slowly when the wireless device is not connected. After the wireless device is connected, the light turns to a steady state. It is off when the wireless function is turned off. PIN : OOOO

  12. Charge: Can be used for charging,connecting to a computer as a sound card and loading third-party IR files.

  13. Mobile: It can be connected to a phone for “internal rocording”.

  14. Phone: Connect to the listening headphone.

PRESET and EDIT mode

PA-1 has two operating modes, EDIT is the real-time editing mode, and PRESET is the preset mode. Initially, it enters the PRESET preset mode by default. Press the and combination buttons at the same time to switch between EDIT and PRESET modes.

A. PRESET Mode

  • PA-1 defaults to the PRESET mode when it is initially turned on. You can switch and browse presets by short pressing the (previous) and button (next).
  • In PRESET mode, short pressing the Bypass- button to decrease the master volume, short pressing the button to increase the master volume.
  • In the PRESET mode, the parameter indicator is used as a reminder to show the preset position and output volume.
  • In the effect module chain of the preset, the indicators of the modules that are not activated are off, and the indicators of the effect modules that have been activated are on.
  • PA-1 effector presets 10 commonly used factory presets for users, ( The following is for reference only, we will modify the parameters whenever necessary, the specific value is subject to the actual product. )

B. EDIT Mode (please short press the combination button(On/Off and Stored)to switch from PRESET mode to EDIT mode after booting)

  • In EDIT mode, short pressing the button to scroll up for selecting the function module, short pressing the button to scroll down for selecting the function module, when the effect module is selected, the corresponding indicator lights up, and others light off.

  • When entering the EDIT mode initially, the system defaults to the AMP module, and you can browse the 10 amp in the AMP module up /down through the / buttons.

  • and buttons play different roles in different modules.
    For example, they play the role of up/down browsing in the Amp or IR CAB module, and increase/decrease the effect parameters in the REVERB or DELAY module. The user can edit the parameters in EDIT mode and save them to PRESET mode.

  • In the EDIT mode, the user can the edited preset to the corresponding position in the PRESET mode by long pressing the Store button. The storage location cannot be moved. For example, if you select the third preset in the PRESET mode and then press the and combination button to enter the EDIT mode, then the edited preset can only be stored in this case In the position of the third preset.

The function introduction of the effect module

  1. AMP Module
    • PA-1 has a total of 10 classic pre-amp. In the EDIT mode, you can select the AMP module through the and buttons. When the AMP is selected, the indicator lights up, and you can use the and buttons to access/browse.
    The timbre sequence corresponds to the parameter indicator lights 1 to 10.
    When the timbre is selected, the corresponding serial number indicator lights up, and the unselected timbre indicator lights are off.

  1. GAIN; gain adjustment
    • In the EDIT mode, you can select the GAIN module through the and buttons. When GAIN is selected, the indicator will light up. You can use the and buttons to reduce or increase the gain of the moudle and adjust the range From parameter indicator 1 (minimum) to parameter indicator 10 (maximum).

  2. TONE; tone brightness adjustment
    • In EDIT mode, you can use the and buttons to select the TONE module. When TONE is selected, the indicator will light up. You can use the and buttons to decrease or increase the brightness and adjustment range of the tone. From parameter indicator 1 (darkest) to parameter indicator 10 (brightest), the default parameter indicator 5 is “balance” brightness.

  3. MOD Module; contains two modulation effects, CHORUS/PHASER.
    • In the EDIT mode, you can select the MOD by pressing the and buttons. In the MOD mode, the position between the parameter indicator light 5 and light 6, is used to close the MOD module. When MOD in closed, all the parameter lights are off.
    • When the MOD module is selected, you can use the button to turn on the CHORUS effect. When the MOD module is off, press the (Bypass button, and the light 5 will light up, indicating that the CHORUS effect is currently enabled. CHORUS effect gain adjustment corresponding to arange from small to large between the light of 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, light 5is the MIN effect, and light 1 is the MAX effect.
    • After the MOD module is selected, you can enable the PHASER effect by pressing the button. When the MOD module is closed, press the button, and the light 6 will light up, indicating that the PHASER effect is currently enabled. PHASER effect gain adjustment corresponding to arange from small to large between the light of 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, light 6 is the MIN effect, and light 10 is the MAX effect.

  4. DELAY Module: The DELAY module contains three parameter buttons of Time, Fb and Mix to adjust.
    ****• In EDIT mode, you can select MIX (DELAY module) by pressing the or buttons. MIX is responsible for turning the DELAY effect. When Mix is selected, press the button continuously until all parameter indicators and Time are selected. Fb and Mix prompt lights are all off, this operation is to close the DELAY module. When the DELAY module is off, select Mix and press the button to turn on the DELAY module, and the Time, Fb and Mix indicator lights will light up. When the DELAY module is turned on, the first parameter of MIX (delayed dry-wet ratio) is also turned on. Then the parameter indicator 1 lights up. You can increase or decrease the DELAY dry-wet ratio by pressing the and buttons. adjustable range parameter indicator 1 (minimum) to the parameter indicator 10 (maximum).
    • F b is to adjust the DELAY feedback. When the DELAY module is turned on, you can use the and buttons to select Fb. Then the Fb indicator lights up, and you can increase or decrease the DELAY by pressing the and buttons. The adjustable range is from parameter indicator 1 (minimum) to parameter indicator 10 (maximum).
    • Time is to adjust the time of the DELAY. When the DELAY module is turned on, you can use the and buttons to select Time, and then the Time indicator will light up, and you can increase or decrease it through the and buttons .DELAY small speed feedback time, adjustable range parameter indicator from 1 (minimum) to the parameter indicator 10 (maximum).

  5. REVERB module
    In the EDIT mode, you can select the Reverb module by pressing the and buttons. When the Reverb module is selected, the Reverb indicator will light up.
    • Continuously press the button until the parameter indicators are all off. This operation is to turn off the Reverb module. When the REVERB module is off, press the button to turn on the Reverb module again, and the parameter indicator lights up. MYou can reduce or increase the effect of Reverb by pressing the and buttons.

  6. IR CAB Module
    • PA-1 is set with 10 classic cabinet simulations. In the EDIT mode, you can select the Ir cab module by pressing the and buttons. When the Ir cab module is selected, press the(Bypass-)button continuously until all the parameter indicators are all Off, this operation is to close the Ir cab module.
    • When the Ir cab module is closed, press the button to turn onthe Ir cab module. At the same time, the parameter indicator 1 lights up, indicating that the first IR cabinet built into the PA-1 effector is currently enabled.
    • You can browse 10 different Ir cab through the and buttons.
    • You can use the CubeSuite software provided by our company to load  third- party IR files.

  7. VOL volume setting
    • In EDIT mode, you can select the VOL module by pressing the and buttons.
    • Please use the and buttons to decrease or increase the volume of the tone currently being edited. The adjustable range is from parameter indicator 1 to parameter indicator 10.

  8. TUNER; tuning module
    • PA-1 contains a high-sensitivity tuner, the method of use is as follows; in the PRESET mode, long press the button to enter the Tuner tuning mode, at this time the indicator in the middle of the function button lights up in red. Indicates that the tuning function has been entered.
    • In the Tuner mode, in the top note name table, from left to right correspond to the 6/5/4/3/2/1 strings of the guitar. When the strings are played, the main unit automatically recognizes the pitch, and the indicator light above the corresponding note name will light up, indicating that the current pitch is close to the lighted note name.
    • We take the third string of the guitar as an example for tuning; when the third string is played, the indicator light above the note name of the corresponding note name table G lights up, and then adjusts against the tuning bar below, when the left light of the tuning bar lights up It means that the current pitch is low. When the right light is on, it means the current pitch is high. When the middle two lights are on, it means that the current pitch is close to the guitar 3 string G.
    •In order to avoid unnecessary noise during tuning, the PA-1 audio output is muted when entering the TUNER mode, and the normal output state will be restored after exiting the TUNER mode.
    • After the tuning is complete, press any button to exit the TUNER mode, and the TUNER indicator will extinguished.

  9. Wireless music playback function
    • PA-1 includes a wireless music playback function, which is convenient for users to play accompaniment in practice or performance. The connection method is as follows; after the PA-1 is turned on, the wireless pairing function is automatically turned on, and the BT indicator keeps flashing slowly, indicating that the device is not currently connected, and we need to pair To the mobile phone or tablet side. Please open the settings item on your mobile device to find the BT name list, find and select ‘PA-1’ from the list to connect. After the connection is successful, the BT indicator turns to a long light.
    • Short press the combination button and to turn on/off the wireless connection function. In the off state, the BT indicator ts off.

  10. Bypass function; direct dry signal
    • We set the Bypass function for the PA-1 effector. Long press the button to enter the Bypass mode.
    • After entering the Bypass mode, the Bypass indicator lights up in blue, and the parameter and module indicators are all off. In Bypass mode, the output signal of the instrument is a dry signal (through).
    • Short press the or button to exit the Bypass mode.

  11. Internal recording function: connect to a Mobile or PC device with
    • PA-1 includes a high-quality internal recording function, plug into the USB port of the device through a dedicated data cable for internal recording, and then connect to your mobile phone computer. Use your mobile phone/computer recording software to achieve PA-1 high-quality built-in audio recording function.

  12. IR CAB loading function
    • PA-1 supports users to load third-party IR CAB simulations, and users can load them online through the Cube Suite software provided by the manufacturer for free. You only need to connect the PA-1’s built-in USB 2.0 cable to your computer to operate it in the Cube Suite software. The Cube Suite software is easy to use and easy to operate.www.lekatodeal.com
    • Install Cube Suite on the computer, generate the  following icon, double- click to open it

The software interface is divided into 2 parts

  1. IR cabinets simulation editor

  2. Open IR Files:find the IR files you have prepared on your computer through this search icon.

  3. IR files name display window: this window displays the selected IR files, which is convenient for us to click and listen.

  4. Distance:through this knob, you can adjust the distance of the microphone to the speaker. The closer the distance,the smaller the ratio, the greater the sound, the farther the distance, the smaller the sound.

  5. Import to:this drop-down serial number is the PA-1 internal IR storage location. You can select the location corresponding to Ir cab module 1-10 to store the third-party IR.

  6. Save button: When the third-party IR is selected, the microphone pickup distance is adjusted, and the storage number position is selected, we can click this button to save.

  7. Factory IR: click this button to restore the factory IR.

  8. Factory reset: click this button to restore the factory tone parameters.

  9. Preset

  10. Select the preset that needs to be adjusted (a total of 10 sets of presets are available for selection), if the software and equipment are in the same set of presets, you can hear the real-time adjustment effect.

  11. Amp: adjust the amp analog tone, there are 10 kinds of amp analog to choose from (see manual 5-1 for details).

  12. Gain: adjust the GAIN tone distortion (See manual 5-2 for details).

  13. Tone: adjust the brightness of TONE tone (see manual 5-3 for details).

  14. Mod: adjust the MOD module, 0-4 is the CHORUS effect parameter, 5 is the MOD effect off, and 6-10 is the PHASER effect parameter (see manual 9-4 for details).

  15. Time: adjust the feedback time of Delay effect (see manual 5-5 for details).

  16. Fb: adjust the feedback depth of Delay effect (see manual 5-5 for details).

  17. Mix: adjust the dry-to-wet ratio of the Delay effect (see manual 5-5 for details).

  18. Reverb: Adjust the dry-to-wet ratio of the REVERB effect (see manual 5-6 for details).

  19. Ir cab: adjust the sound of IR box simulation, there are 10 kinds of box simulation to choose from (see manual 5-7 for details).

  20. Vol: adjust the current preset output volume (see manual 5-8 for details).

  21. Save: tone save button. Note: If the adjusted preset is not saved, it will be restored to the parameters before the adjustment after the device is powered off
