Large Solar Kit

Installation Instructions

1. Unpack the solar kit from it’s packaging. Look inside the packaging for a set of U-Bolts.

2. Remove the U-Bolts from the zip lock bag and mount it to the top and bottom panel of the bracket.

   • (A ) U-Boltx2
   • (B) Top or Bottom Panel
   • (C) Washers x4
   • (D) Spring Washers x4
   • (E) Hex Nut x4

3. Mark the mounting pole. This is where the top U-bolt will be.

4. Slide the U-bolts over the pole and tighten when the top bolt aligns with previous marking.

5. Loosen the 6 bolts on the inside of the frame. Do NOT completely remove the bolts.

6. Lift the bottom of the Solar Panel until the attached arms holding it are angled at 90 degrees. Tighten all 6 bolts again from and face the panel north.

7. If you have a JVA Energiser it can be installed between the solar panel and the pole. There are 2 mounting screws that can be used to hang the energizer up.

8. If your JVA energiser is fitted, plug it into the solar panel lead. The energiser aligator leads and plug pack will be unsued (left over).

9. Attach the red and black ring terminals to the battery

10. Alternative Wiring:
    Alternatively, the energiser can be connected to the battery directly using the alligator leads that came with the energiser.
