Adding Apps to Your Home Screen

• Tap and hold the Apps Menu icon (the centre circle on the bottom of the screen) then swipe up the screen.
• Find the app you want to add to your home screen.
• Tap and hold, then drag it to the home screen.

Deleting Apps from Your Tablet

• Tap and hold the Apps Menu icon (the centre circle on the bottom of the screen) then swipe up the screen.
• Find the app you wish to uninstall, press and hold, then drag it to  “Uninstall” at the top of the screen.

Closing an App

• Tap the Show Recent/Open App List icon (the square on the bottom right of the screen).
• Tap and hold the app you want to close and swipe up the screen to close it.

Connect to Wi-Fi

• Tap and hold the Apps Menu icon (the centre circle on the bottom of the screen) then swipe up the screen.
• Tap Settings, then tap Network & Internet, and finally tap Internet.
• Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position, select the desired network from the list, and tap Connect.
• If the network is secured with a password, you will be prompted to enter it using the keyboard.
• Once completed, the display will show “Connected” under the name of the network, as well as the Wi-Fi signal strength.

Troubleshooting Wi-Fi Connection Issues

• Check your router and restart it if necessary.
• Test your Wi-Fi connection on other devices.
• Turn the Wi-Fi off, then back on again.
• Bring the tablet closer to your router when trying to connect.
• Turn off the tablet and turn it back on again.
• Delete your Wi-Fi network from the list of saved networks by tapping on your current network and tapping Forget.
• Re-add the network and enter the password information again.

Playing DVDs

• Slide the Disc Open latch to the right and open the tablet by gently pulling upwards on the screen. Take care not to pull too hard on the screen or damage may result.

• Insert a DVD and close the tablet.

• Open the DVD Player app
  (Note: The DVD Player app will be in the Apps Menu by default) and use the on-screen controls to begin playing the DVD, access menus, change the volume, and other settings.

•  The player does not support Blu-ray discs

Playing DVDs
The DVD Player app will not work if the camera is disabled. When prompted, enable camera access for the DVD app. When opening the DVD Player app for the first time, you will see a screen that says “Allow DVD Player to take pictures and record video?”

• If you select “While using the app,” the DVD Player app will remember this choice and the DVD Player app will start. You will not have to make this selection again.
• If you select “Only this time,” the DVD Player app will start, but you will have to make this selection again after closing the app or turning off the tablet.
• If you select “Don’t allow,” the DVD Player app will not launch and you will see an error screen that says “Camera abnormal, unable to use DVD.”
• Close the app and reopen it to choose a different option.
