Safety Notes

Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:

This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on operating the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed over to a third party!
This article is designed as a decorative object. It is not suitable for illuminating a room in your household.
The article is not a toy. Do not let children play with it.
This article is designed for indoor and outdoor use IP44. Do not operate the article in the vicinity of gas, electric heaters, open fires, candles or other heat sources.
Defective cable, plug and LEDs are not replaceable.
Do not operate the article while it is in the packaging.
Make sure the light chain cannot become a tripping hazard. Do not bend the cable. Do not use the light chain if the cable is damaged. Do not clamp the cable and do not overstretch it.
Do not directly stare into the LEDs and do not direct the light beam of the LEDs towards people or animals.
Do not disassemble the article and do not attempt to repair it yourself. It does not contain parts serviceable by you. In case of questions or problems, please turn to our customer service.

Operation

Before first Use

Unpack the article and dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags may become a deadly toy for children.

Operation

Open the locking latches on the battery compartment and open the lid.
Insert three batteries of the type LR6 (AA) into the battery holder and observe correct polarity.
To switch on the light chain press the button on the battery compartment. Press the button again to cycle to the illumination modes. A list of the illumination modes is on the battery compartment. To switch off the light push the button again.
When turned on the light chain will work for 6 hours, then turn off for 18 hours and start over again.

When running the cable, make sure the cable does not become a tripping hazard. Due to the LED technology changing the illuminant of the light chain is not required.

Cleaning and Storing

Clean the unit only with a lightly moistened cloth. Do not use aggressive chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
Store the light chain in a dry place and protect it from dust and dirt. Keep the article out of reach of children.
