Air:Link 3000DG Dual Band Router

This manual explains how to connect your Air:Link router to a broadband modem, and how to set up a wireless connection between router and PC/MAC.

What is dual band ?

JENSEN Air Link 3000DG Dual Band Router - fig 1

AL3000DG is a dual band router. That is, it has two indipendent wireless networks, one for 2.4GHz and one at 5GHz frequency band. Wireless networks traditionally use 2.4GHz frequency band to transmit data. Since the 2.4GHz frequency band is now crowded with signals from other wireless networks, Bluetooth devices, cordless phones, wireless alarms, etc., this often results in unstable and slow networks. In contrast, the 5GHz frequency band are mostly free of this kind of disturbances.
The advantage of dual-band router is that the equipment for 5GHz get optimal speed and range, while the 2.4GHz equipment will still work.

All you have to do is to connect the wireless router to your broadband modem and enter the password supplied. You can quickly and simply connect to the internet with your PC without using network cables.
