Overview
JW3306E fiber optic identification instrument is a new comprehensive test instrument newly developed by our company, which not only has the function of conventional fiber optic identification instrument to carry out nondestructive fiber optic identification detection work in any position of single-mode and multimode fiber, but also has the optical power module and red light visual fault location function necessary for fiber optic link construction and maintenance detection, which is a high-performance tester in current fiber optic network maintenance detection.

Optic fiber identifier module
The 4-in-1 metal clamps are engraved with silkscreen markings (900/250um,
2mm/3mm), users can choose to adjust the upper and lower mounting positions of
the adapter according to different test specifications of bare and pigtail
fibers. (Figure 5-1,5-2)

Pull out the plastic upper cover of the fixture holding the adapter head
upward (see Figure 5-3 for red arrow diagram) and remove the adapter head
after the upper cover is pulled out.
Reinstall it on the slide bar according to the silkscreen logo on the adapter
head, and then put the plastic top cover back on and slide it down to fix it.

Put the tested fiber pigtail (bare fiber) into the metal fixture test port,
and then pull the switch of the instrument’s rear housing to pull downward, so
that the test fiber has a certain degree of force, at this time the instrument
screen interface displays the test data.
If there is a modulation frequency in the test link, there will be a
corresponding frequency display and beeping prompt at the bottom of the
screen. **(Figure 5-5, Figure 5-6).

OPM module
Press the meter “ **“power button to power on, at this time the meter
displays the test interface of the common power meter module.
Slide down and pull the stopper at the OPM/VFL logo on the right side of the
meter, and there are OPM and VFL function modules on the inside. (Figure
5-7, Figure 5-8)

The fiber optic signal end to be tested is inserted into the OPM power meter port, and then in the instrument key function area to select the desired test wavelength into, unit dBm/dB switching, etc. can be tested for the absolute power value of the optical signal, relative power value, insertion loss, etc.
VFL module
Press the meter “ ****” power button to power on, at this time the meter
displays the test interface of the common power meter module.
Slide down and pull the stopper at the OPM/VFL logo on the right side of the
meter, and there are OPM and VFL function modules on the inside.
(As shown in Figure 5-7 and Figure 5-8 above).
Insert the fiber link end to be tested into the VFL red light source port,
then press the VFL key in the instrument key function area, at this time the
upper right corner of the screen shows the red → symbol, indicating that the
VFL function is on and the optical power is output continuously;
press the VFL key again, the red → symbol prompt flashes in the upper right
corner of the screen, and the power will be output at a frequency of 1HZ;
press the VFL key again, the upper right → symbol disappears, indicating that
the VFL function has been closed, no power output. (Figure 5-9, Figure

Maintenance
- The tester should work without obvious vibration.
- Keep the output surface clean, use dust-free paper or cleaning cloth and anhydrous alcohol to clean the end surface.
- When the equipment is not in use, please protect it from dust.
- Insert and remove the optical connector carefully.
- Hold and place the device gently to prevent dropping and collision.
Warranty
We DO NOT suggest user repair the instrument by themselves.

The warranty period is valid for eighteen months from the date of shipment.

When the purchased product is found to have quality problems during this period, our company will make appropriate repairs or replacements.

If the instrument in the use of the process of problems, according to the solution of common failure tips still cannot be solved,
