Safety information

Please read the safety instructions carefully before using the product for the first time and keep the instructions for future reference.

  1. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of reach of children.
  2. Warning : This product includes lithium 1ON battery.
  3. Keep product out of the reach of children and pets to avoid chewing and swallowing.
  4. Product operating and storage temperature is from-5 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius. Under and over this temperature might affect the function.
  5. Never open the product. Repairs or service should only be performed by qualified personnel
  6. Do not expose to heat, water, moisture, direct sunlight!
  7. The unit is not waterproof. If water or foreign objects enter the unit, it may result in fire or electric shock. If water or a foreign object enters the unit, stop use immediately.
  8. Only charge with supplied USB cable.
  9. Do not use non original accessories together with the product as this can make the product functionality abnormal.

Battery installation

Please install the battery before using the device. Please open the battery compartment cover at the back of the night vision device (as shown below) and install a battery type 18650, ensuring that the polarity (+/-) is correct. Close the cover and tighten it.

insert memory card

Please choose a Class 10 microsD card (supporting up to 32GB). Be sure to insert the microSD card in the right direction (as shown below); do not insert the card forcibly. Before use, format the microSD card, which can enhance the battery life, shutter speed and card compatibility. Lightly press the edge of the microSD card to remove.

Basic operation

Power On/Off
Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to switch the night vision device on/off.

Mode selection & Setup menu
There are 3 modes (photo mode, video mode and playback mode) and a setting menu for this night vision device. Press and hold the mode button to toggle between modes. Press the power button to enter the setup menu.

Photo/Video

CAUTION
In photo and video modes, make adjustments to the night vision camera prior to taking photos and videos.

Focus wheel adjustment
Please look at the display and adjust the focus wheel manually to the left or right as per the actual viewing distance and until the display is clear (as shown below).\

Enable infrared light night vision function
If there is not enough light or when using at night, press the infrared light IR button to turn on the infrared light and cycle through the 7 infrared light levels (0>1 >2>3>4>5>6>7>0). The image changes to black and white. Depending on the actual situation, adjust the brightness. The dimmer the light, the higher the adjustment.

Operation

Scroll to top button Press and hold to enlarge the Image to a maximum of 8x. Scroll down button Press and hold to zoom out the enlarged image. OK button In photo mode, press to take a picture; in video mode, press to start recording, and then again press to end recording.

Playback mode

Enter playback mode
Press and hold the Mode button to toggle between modes until playback mode is selected.

View photos and video recordings
Press the Scroll to top or Scroll down button to preview the picture or video.

Play/Stop video playback
Press the OK button to stop video playback.

File deletion

  • Press the Scroll to top or Scroll down button to select photo or video.
  • Press the Power / button to pop up the file deletion page.
  • Press the up/down button to select the Delete option.
  • Press the OK button the Delete one and Delete all options are displayed.
  • Press the up/down button to select, then press the OK button confirm the option; or press the Power button to exit the Delete page.
Setup menu

Access the Setup Menu
In video and photo modes, press the Power button to enter/exit the setup menu.

About the setup menu

  • Press the up/down button to select the Setup menu options.
  • Press the OK button to enter the options.
  • Press the up/down button to select the parameter.
  • Press the OK button to confirm and quit; or press the Power button to return to the Setup menu.

Date/time setting
Locate the setting option in the menu. Press the OK button to enter. Press the OK button to toggle between year/month/day/hour/minute/second, then press the up/down button to enlarge or reduce the value. Press the Power button to confirm and return to the settings menu.

PC connection
Enable the night vision device (the night vision device requires a memory card), use the data cable to connect to the computer to the night vision device. The following menu is displayed:

  • Press the Scroll up/down button the OK button to confirm. to select memory or camera, and press
  • Mass storage : The computer recognizes the microSD card and enables you to copy files to the computer.
  • PC camera : The computer recognizes the camera as a computer-available camera.

CAUTION

Device power off
If the device fails to be switched on, check if the battery is installed properly; if the battery power is insufficient (please charge it promptly).

Reset operation
If the camera is stuck or does not react to operation, it can be forced off by long pressing the IR button and then lightly pressing the power button (double button press for quick reset) or by inserting the reset pin in the reset hole to turn off the camera and restart it afterwards.

Poor picture quality
If used during the day, be sure the IR light is off (if IR is on, the screen will display in black and white, if IR is off, the screen will display in color). If used at night or in dim light, be sure the IR light is turned on. Adjust the focus by moving the focus wheel gradually.

Maintenance

Remove the battery before cleaning the device. Use a dry cloth only to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use any cleaning solution to protect the device from possible damage. For cleaning the lenses, use a very soft, lint- free cloth (e.g. microfiber cloth). Avoid scratches on the lenses, just press the cleaning cloth carefullyAt all times, keep the device away from dust and moisture. Keep it in a protective case or in the box. Remove the batteries only if the device will not be used for a long period of time. Please notice – All products are subject to change without any notice. In this manner you make sure that the batteries are recycled in accordance with legislature and will not harm the environment. All cities have established collection points, where electric and electronic equipment
and batteries can either be submitted free of charge at recycling stations and other collection sites, or be collected from the households. Additional information is available at the technical department of your city.
