WARNING!
The declared vibration total values and the declared noise emission values
given in this instruction manual have been measured in accordance with a
standardised test given in EN 62841 and may be used to compare one tool with
another. They may be used for a preliminary assessment of exposure.
The declared vibration and noise emission values represent the main
applications of the tool. However, if the tool is used for different
applications, used with different accessories, or poorly maintained, the
vibration and noise emission may differ. These conditions may significantly
increase the exposure levels over the total working period.
An estimation of the level of exposure to vibration and noise should take into
account the times when the tool is turned off or when it is running idle.
These conditions may significantly reduce the exposure level over the total
working period.
Identify additional safety measures to protect the operator from the effects
of vibration and noise, such as maintaining the tool and the accessories,
keeping the hands warm, and organising work patterns.
WARNING! Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and
specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all
instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious
injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
CIRCULAR SAW SAFETY WARNINGS
CUTTING PROCEDURES
DANGER! Keep hands away from cutting area and the blade. Keep your second hand
on auxiliary handle, or motor
housing. If both hands are holding the saw, they cannot be cut by the blade.
Do not reach underneath the workpiece. The guard cannot protect you from the
blade below the workpiece.
Adjust the cutting depth to the thickness of the workpiece. Less than a full
tooth of the blade teeth should be visible below the workpiece.
Never hold the workpiece in your hands or across your leg while cutting.
Secure the workpiece to a stable platform. It is important to support the work
properly to minimise body exposure, blade binding, or loss of control.
30
ENGLISH
Hold the power tool by insulated gripping surfaces, when performing an
operation where the cutting accessory may contact hidden wiring. Contact with
a “live” wire will also make exposed metal parts of the power tool “live” and
could give the operator an electric shock.
When ripping, always use a rip fence or straight edge guide. This improves the
accuracy of cut and reduces the chance of blade binding.
Always use blades with correct size and shape (diamond versus round) of arbour
holes. Blades that do not match the mounting hardware of the saw will run off-
centre, causing loss of control.
Never use damaged or incorrect blade washers or bolt. The blade washers and
bolt were specially designed for the saw, for optimum performance and safety
of operation.
Always have the viewing window or splinter guard in place during use.
KICKBACK CAUSES AND RELATED WARNINGS
Kickback is a sudden reaction to a pinched, jammed, or misaligned saw blade,
causing an uncontrolled saw to lift up and out of the workpiece toward the
operator.
When the blade is pinched or jammed tightly by the kerf closing down, the
blade stalls and the motor reaction drives the unit rapidly back toward the
operator.
If the blade becomes twisted or misaligned in the cut, the teeth at the back
edge of the blade can dig into the top surface of the wood causing the blade
to climb out of the kerf and jump back toward the operator.
Kickback is the result of saw misuse and/or incorrect operating procedures or
conditions and can be avoided by taking proper precautions as given below.
· Maintain a firm grip with both hands on the saw and position your arms to
resist kickback forces. Position your body to either side of the blade, but
not in line with the blade. Kickback could cause the product to jump
backwards, but kickback forces can be controlled by the operator, if proper
precautions are taken.
· When blade is binding, or when interrupting a cut for any reason, release
the trigger and hold the saw motionless in the material until the blade comes
to a complete stop. Never attempt to remove the saw from the work or pull the
saw backward while the blade is in motion or kickback may occur. Investigate
and take corrective actions to eliminate the cause of blade binding.
· When restarting a saw in the workpiece, centre the saw blade in the kerf so
that the saw teeth are not engaged into the material. If a saw blade binds, it
may walk up or kickback from the workpiece as the saw is restarted.
· Support large panels to minimise the risk of blade pinching and kickback.
Large panels tend to sag under their own weight. Supports must be placed under
the panel on both sides, near the line of cut and near the edge of the panel.
· Do not use dull or damaged blades. Unsharpened or improperly set blades
produce narrow kerf causing excessive friction, blade binding and kickback.
· Blade depth and bevel adjusting locking levers must be tight and secure
before making the cut. If blade adjustment shifts while cutting, it may cause
binding and kickback.
· Use extra caution when sawing into existing walls or other blind areas. The
protruding blade may cut objects that can cause kickback.
GUARD FUNCTION
Check the guard for proper closing before each use. Do not operate the saw if
the guard does not move freely and enclose the blade instantly. Never clamp or
tie the guard so that the blade is exposed. If the saw is accidentally
dropped, the guard may be bent. Check to make sure that the guard moves freely
and does not touch the blade or any other part, in all angles and depths of
cut.
Check the operation and condition of the guard return spring. If the guard and
the spring are not operating properly, they must be serviced before use. The
guard may operate sluggishly due to damaged parts, gummy deposits, or a build-
up of debris.
Assure that the base plate of the saw will not shift while performing a
“plunge cut”. Blade shifting sideways will cause binding and likely kick back.
Always observe that the guard is covering the blade before placing the saw
down on bench or floor. An unprotected, coasting blade will cause the saw to
walk backwards, cutting whatever is in its path. Be aware of the time it takes
for the blade to stop after switch is released.
RIVING KNIFE FUNCTION
Use the appropriate saw blade for the riving knife. For the riving knife to
function, the body of the blade must be thinner than the riving knife and the
cutting width of the blade must be wider than the thickness of the riving
knife.
Adjust the riving knife as described in this instruction manual. Incorrect
spacing, positioning and alignment can make the riving knife ineffective in
preventing kickback.
Always use the riving knife except when plunge cutting. The riving knife must
be replaced after plunge cutting. The riving knife causes interference during
plunge cutting and can create kickback.
For the riving knife to work, it must be engaged in the workpiece. The riving
knife is ineffective in preventing kickback during short cuts.
Do not operate the product if the riving knife is bent. Even a light
interference can slow the closing rate of a guard.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY AND WORKING INSTRUCTIONS
Wear ear protectors. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.
Use protective equipment. Always wear safety glasses when working with the
product. The use of protective clothing is recommended, such as a dust mask,
protective gloves, sturdy nonslip footwear, helmet, and ear defenders.
The dust produced when using the product may be harmful to health. Do not
inhale the dust. Use a dust absorption system and wear a suitable dust
protection mask. Remove deposited dust thoroughly, e.g. with a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use saw blades that do not correspond to the key data given in these
instructions for use.
It is necessary to select a saw blade which is suitable for the material being
cut.
Use only woodworking blades specified in this manual, which comply with EN
847-1.
The rated speed of the accessory must be at least equal to the maximum speed
marked on the power tool.
Do not fix the on/off switch in the on position when using the saw hand-held.
Do not use abrasion discs in the product.
Remove the battery pack before starting any work on the product.
When cutting plastic, avoid overheating the blade and the blade teeth to
prevent melting the workpiece.

SPECIFIED CONDITIONS OF USE
This electronic circular saw can cut lengthways and mitre accurately in wood.
Do not use the product for any other purpose.
RESIDUAL RISK
Even when the product is used as prescribed, it is still impossible to
completely eliminate certain residual risk factors. The following hazards may
arise in use and the operator should pay special attention to avoid the
following:
injury caused by vibration – Hold the product by designated handles and
restrict working time and exposure.
hearing injury caused by exposure to noise – Restrict exposure and wear
appropriate hearing protection
injuries due to flying debris – Wear appropriate personal protective
equipment, heavy long trousers, gloves, substantial footwear, and safety
glasses, at all times.
health hazards caused by breathing toxic dusts – Wear a mask if necessary.
BATTERIES
Battery packs that have not been used for some time should be recharged before
use.
Temperatures in excess of 50°C reduce the performance of the battery pack.
Avoid extended exposure to heat or sunshine (risk of overheating).
The contacts of the chargers and battery packs must be kept clean.
For an optimum lifetime, the battery packs have to be fully charged after use.
To obtain the longest possible battery life, remove the battery pack from the
charger once it is fully charged.
For battery pack storage longer than 30 days:
· Store the battery pack where the temperature is below 27°C and away from
moisture.
· Store the battery packs in a 30% 50% charged condition. · Every six months
of storage, charge the pack as normal. Do not dispose of used battery packs in
the household refuse or by burning them. MILWAUKEE distributors offer to
retrieve old batteries to protect our environment.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire, personal injury, and product damage due
to a short circuit, never immerse the product, battery pack, or charger in
fluid or allow fluid to flow inside them. Corrosive or conductive fluids, such
as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach-containing
products, etc., can cause a short circuit.
BATTERY PACK PROTECTION
In extremely high torque, binding, stalling and short circuit situations that
cause high current draw, the tool will vibrate for about 5 seconds, the fuel
gauge flashes, and then the product turns off. To reset, release the trigger.
Under extreme circumstances, the internal temperature of the battery pack
could raise too much. If this happens, the fuel gauge flashes until the
battery pack cools down. After the lights go off, continue working.
TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES

PERINGATAN!
PERINGATAN KESELAMATAN GERGAJI SIRKULAR
PROSEDUR PEMOTONGAN
BAHAYA! Jauhkan tangan dari pemotongan dan bilah pemotongan. Pegang pegangan
bantu atau kerangka motor
dengan tangan kedua. Jika kedua tangan memegang gergaji, maka keduanya tidak
dapat terkena bilah.
Jangan menggapai bagian bawah benda kerja.
benar (wajik versus bulat). Bilah gergaji yang tidak sesuai dengan perangkat
keras pemasangan gergaji akan bergerak keluar titik putarnya, menyebabkan
hilangnya kendali.
bilah gergaji berhenti sepenuhnya. Jangan pernah mencoba melepaskan gergaji
digunakan. Jangan mengoperasikan gergaji jika pelindung tidak bergerak bebas
dan menutup bilah dengan seketika. Jangan sekali-kali menjepit atau mengikat
pelindung sehingga bilah terbuka.
kecil.
Jangan mengoperasikan produk jika pisau pembelah bengkok. Bahkan interferensi
kecil dapat memperlambat laju penutupan pelindung.
PETUNJUK KESELAMATAN DAN KERJA TAMBAHAN
Pakai pelindung telinga. Berada di lingkungan yang bising dapat menyebabkan
gangguan pendengaran.
Gunakan peralatan pelindung. Selalu kenakan kaca mata pelindung saat bekerja
menggunakan produk ini. Dianjurkan memakai pakaian pelindung, seperti masker
