Safety Tips

IMPORTANT : For your safety read the instruction book carefully before installing or using this product. Save this manual for future reference. Consult Local and National Standards to comply with the following:

  1. Health and Safety at Work Legislation

  5. DO NOT use the appliance outside.
  6. DO NOT attempt to service the item yourself.
  7. DO NOT use damaged appliances. If you are in any doubt, consult service agent.
  8. DO NOT use electrical appliances inside the appliance (e.g. heaters, ice- cream makers etc.).
  9. Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.
  10. DO NOT use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
  11. DO NOT damage the refrigerant circuit.
  12. DO NOT allow oil or fat to come into contact with the plastic components or door seal. Clean immediately if contact occurs.
  13. Do not let children play with the appliance.
  14. DO NOT place combustible, explosive or volatile articles, corrosive acids or alkalis or liquids in the appliance.
  15. DO NOT use this appliance to store medical supplies.
  16. DO NOT use jet/pressure washers to clean the appliance.
  17. DO NOT allow children to play with the packaging and dispose plastic bags safely.
  18. Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the unit before cleaning.
  19. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  20. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  21. For indoor use only. Not suitable for installation in an area where a water jet could be used. Shall not be cleaned by a water jet.
  22. To guarantee safe operation, ensure that the appliance is set up and connected as described in the instruction manual.
  23. Any repairs and work on the appliance should only be carried out by the customer service department/ qualified technician.
  24. The key to the electrical cabinet should be kept out of the reach of children and users.
  25. Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance.

Location and Installation

  • Remove the appliance from the packaging. Make sure that all protective plastic film and coatings are thoroughly removed from all surfaces.
  • This product should be placed in a dry and ventilated place. Objects or walls hindering ventilation are not allowed to exist within 100mm of each side.
  • The appliance should be placed on a solid flat and stable floor to reduce noise and vibration.
  • Avoid locating the unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources such as ovens or radiators.
  • Check that the power supply and voltage used comply with the details on the rating plate. The plug must be accessible after installation.
  • Correctly connect and disconnect the plug. When inserting ensure the plug is fully engaged. While unplugging hold the body of the plug. Never pull the supply cord directly.
  • The freezer is equipped with a built-in refrigeration engine, is necessary to avoid obstruct the air circulation of the unit in correspondence at rear and side grille, in this way it will allow a correct air exchange. Avoid depositing products or other materials on the perimeter of the freezer. Remember that a rise of ambient temperature or insufficient air to the condenser of the refrigeration unit, reduce the performance of the freezer and with more energy consumption.
  • If the unit is to be shut down for long period, switch it off and disconnect the plug from socket outlet. Clean the appliance and leave the door open to prevent odour.
  • Important! For your personal safety, this appliance must be properly grounded (earthed). This appliance is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an outlet that is properly grounded and installed. Consult a qualified electrician or service centre if you do not completely understand the grounding instructions. If doubt exits whether the appliance is properly grounded, have a qualified electrician check the circuit to make sure the outlet is properly grounded.
  • If the cable does not reach the nearest socket, either rearrange your store layout or ask a qualified electrician to fix a new socket.
  • If power is cut off, wait for at least 3 minutes before restarting the appliance to avoid damaging the compressor.

Use of the freezer

The room or area in which the freezer is to be installed must have the following characteristics

  • Indoors
  • Maximum temperature of +30
  • Relative humidity (RH) 60%

Safety precautions during use

To ensure accident prevention, you must read and observe the following precautions before installing the freezerand turning it on

  • Never allow anyone to use the freezer without proper instruction
  • Carefully read the instructions manual before using the freezer
  • Failure to observe use regulations can cause accidents
  • Make sure that each piece of equipment or accessory is installed correctly.

Switch on and operation

  1. Before switching on the machine, adjust the freezer to the level by using the four regulating feet at the bottom of the cabinet
  2. Before switching on the machine, please carefully check the installation of the equipment according to the requirements in the manual, and let it stand for 30 minutes in advanced
  3. Plug in the power ,switched on the power switch, the compressor runs automatically after a 3-minute delay.
  4. Check whether the compressor is running;
  5. After the compressor runs for 15 minutes, the temperature in the cabinet should decrease obviously. It indicates that the refrigerator is running well and can be used safely; otherwise, it should be shut down immediately for inspection.
    Note : the controller is setted up in factory. It is not allowed to be adjusted without training or careful reading of instructions.

How to load ice-cream

  1. When to load the ice cream in the cabinet: the ice cream should be loaded after the refrigerator reaches the storage temperature and the compressor stops one time.
  2. When load the ice cream, the refrigerator must be clean .

Daily maintenance

  1. The temperature controller parameters of each ice cream cabinet are strictly set before delivery. If you are not a professional, do not adjust without permission..
  2. In the daily working hours of the product, please always observe t he temperature changes and check whether the lights are normal in the cabinet. If you find a problem, you should get in touch with a professional repairman immediately to solve the problem.
  3. Switch off the power,wipe the inside and outside surfaces of the freezer with warm water and a suitable amount of neutral detergent to keep it clean. It is strictly prohibited to use boiling water, chemical diluent, gasoline, kerosene, volatile solvent and scale removal powder to wipe.

Temperature adjustment
In the status of temperature measuring and controlling, press Set key for three seconds to enter user menu, it displays the code St, then press Set key again, display the value of St. It could be modified by pressing the key or .after modify the setting temperatu re, press set and back to display code St.

Notes :

  1. It is strictly prohibited to store inflammable, explosive, strong acid and strong alkali corrosive articles, such as butane, sulfuric acid, binder, alcohol, etc., in the freezer.
  2. The compressor of th e freezer shall not be started continuously. In any case, after each power cut, the compressor can only be started again after an interval of 4 to 5 minutes;
  3. In the process of using the freezer, if there is any abnormal situation, such as abnormal noise, s mell, smoke, etc., the power should be cut off immediately, and invite a professional maintenance personnel to conduct a thorough inspection. Do not restart the machine until the fault is resolved.

Non Trouble shooting phenomenon

Phenomenon Cause

Sound of liquid flowing                                                or boiling| Normal sound of refrigerant in the pipeline, it may also happen when the compressor stops.


Sound of starting compressor

| The motor sounds when the compressor works, the sound will be louder when starting and stopping, which are normal phenomenon.
Moisture on the outside of the cabinet or surrounding the door.| When it is rainy season or a humid day, there will be slight condensation, which is the same reason why there are water drips on the outside of cold cups


Extraordinary noise

| Whether the ground is flat or the machine is stable or not
Whether the dispenser touches the wall or other things


Strange smell in the cabinet

| Whether the  icecream has gone bad
Whether the cabinet inner need to be cleaned




Compressor always working

| If the temperature is not low enough, please check: Whether the wind path of the compartment is blocked

Whether the door is not closed tightly or the door is opened too frequently

Whether the ambient temperature is too high

If the inside temperature is too low and it is too hard for scooping, please adjust

the electronic thermostat 1-2 ℃ higher(please refer to the temperature adjustment)

Disposal
If the appliance is no longer of use and you wish to dispose of it, please do in an environmentally correct way.

Contact a qualified service technician:

  1. To recover all Freon/refrigerant
  2. To remove the compressor or remove the oil from the compressor
  3. To remove the flammable insulation blowing gases

Then the distributor/ retailer can contact their local metal recycling center to pick up the remaining cabinet, shelves, etc. There may be special requireme nts or conditions. You can obtain information on the disposal of refrigeration appliances from:

  • Your supplier
  • Government authorities (The local council, Ministry of the Environment, etc.)

By law, disposal of hazardous wastes may be subject to fines and imp risonment under the provisions of the environmental regulations.

  1. If the refrigerant of the unit is a hydrocarbon refrigerant ,it is covered by the Kyoto Protocol.
  2. Releasing the refrigerant to the atmosphere will harm the environment by contributing to the global warming. The Global Warming Potential (GWP) of R134a is 1430, of R404a is 3922, of R600a/R290 is 3.

DISPOSAL
Discarded electric appliances are recyclable and should not be discarded in the domestic waste! Please actively support us in conserving resources and protecting the environment by returning this appliance to the collection centres (if available). Dispose of packaging in accordance to applicable legal regulations

Warranty

A statutory warranty applies for this product. Damages caused by wrong treatment or operation, by false placement or storage, improper connection or installation, as well as force or other external influences are not covered by this warranty. We recommend careful reading of the operating instructions as it contains important information.

    Describe the fault and problem as detailed as possible In the case of a claim for guarantee or defects, please contact the seller.

  5. This product is a direct freezing equipment. When it is observed that the frost completely covers the inside of the box, please stop the machine and clean it up in time. Clean the water stains with a rag before starting the machine. During shutdown and cleaning, the goods need to be stored in a freezer to avoid damage.
