INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Pro-Ject Power Box DS3 Sources
Dear music lover, Thank you for purchasing a Pro-Ject Audio Systems Power
Box DS3 Sources. In order to achieve maximum performance and reliability you
should study these instructions for use carefully.
Warning of a hazard for the user, the unit or possible misuse

Safety instructions
** AC outlet voltages vary from country to country. Before connecting to
the mains, make sure that the voltage in your area meets the voltage
requirements printed on the device. Never handle the device while your hands
are wet or damp. Avoid letting liquids enter the device. Never place any item
containing liquid, such as a flower vase on or near the device. Never spill
any liquid on the device. Never place any naked flame sources, such as lighted
candles on or near the device. The product shall not be used in damp or wet
locations, next to a bathtub, sink, swimming pool or any other similar
conditions.
Using the
product**
Power Box DS3 Sources is designed to power a wide range of DC-powered Pro-Ject
products except of power amplifiers, integrated amplifiers & receivers.
Make all connections whilst the Power Box DS3 Sources is switched off or
disconnected from the mains.
Interconnection cables are included in the packaging. Original power supplies
are no longer required. In case of any doubts, consult user manuals of all
connected products or ask your dealer.
Make sure that Input AC selector matches mains voltage in your country

15V turntable output: All of Pro-Ject DC-powered turntables EXCEPT those
with heavy, mass-loaded platters and as a result increased power draw (for
example: X8, Xtension 9, Xtension 10, Xtension 12, RPM 9, RPM 10, Signature
10, Signature 12).
Trigger connection
Power Box DS3 Sources is equipped with 12V trigger-out socket (jack 2.5mm) to
turn on/off a Pro-Ject product with trigger input socket.
**** Do not use the trigger output for any other connections for which it is
not designed.
Main power switch
The toggle switch on the front panel turns the unit on or off. The blue LED
above the switch shows that the unit is switched on.

Service
Should you encounter a problem which you are not able to alleviate or identify despite the above information, please contact your dealer for further advice. Only when the problem cannot be resolved there should the unit be sent to the responsible distributor in your country.
