Outside Mount Installation

1. Measure the exact width of the shade and mark the edges on the wall.
2. Mount the brackets to the wall outside the window frame according to the measurements.
3. Ensure the brackets are perfectly horizontal using a level.

How to Install Cassette Roller Shade

For Outside Mount

Mounting the Brackets

1. Brackets (B) will be mounted to the wall outside the window frame. Use a tape measure to measure the exact width of the shade (A) and mark the edges.
2. Measure in 2″ from the markings and 1/2″ above the opening of the window frame or window molding. If your shade came with a 3rd bracket (B), make a 3rd mark exactly center of outside marks.
3. Brackets (B) must be mounted perfectly horizontal, so use a level to ensure your markings are level.
4. Use a 1/16″ drill bit to drill a hole for each screw location.
5. Screw the brackets (B) into place with the provided screws (C). To ensure a secure mount, wall anchors (D) or expansion bolts (not provided) may be needed.
6. Continue to “Installing the Shade”
   

For Inside Mount
Mounting the Brackets

1. Your shade may be installed on the roof of your windowsill if it is at least 2″ deep. Make sure the Cordless Shade (A) fits inside your window frame.
2. Measure 2″ from edge of window frame and towards the front. Mark this spot with a pencil. If using a 3rd bracket (B), make a 3rd mark exactly center of outside marks.
3. Hold bracket (B) to markings and mark where your screws (C) will go.
4. Use a level to ensure brackets (B) are aligned and level across width of the window.
5. Use a 1/16″ drill bit to drill a hole for each screw (C) location.
6. Screw the brackets (B) into place. To ensure a secure mount, wall anchors (D) may be needed.
7. Continue to “Installing the Shade”

How to Install Cassette Roller Shade

Installing the Shade
(Same for Outside and Inside Mount)

1. Find the groove at the top of the headrail (A). Hold the shade so the front is facing you.
2. Rest the groove inside the top hook on bracket (B).
3. Push the shade (A) backwards until it catches onto the back of the bracket (B) and snaps into place. You’ll hear an audible “click” when the headrail (A) is securely in place.
4. To remove, insert a screwdriver into the hole on the bracket’s bottom tab and push tab back.
   

Operating the Shade

To Lower
Lower the shade by grasping the bottom bar and pulling straight down to your desired height. If required, give a small tug downward to lock into position.

To Raise
Grasp the bottom bar and tug downward quickly. The shade will automatically stop at upper limit, or you may raise to an intermediate height and then tug downward to lock into desired position.

How to Adjust the Stop Point

1. The shade has been preset to automatically stop at the top of the headrail. You may adjust it to stop at a lower point.

2. The Stop Point adjuster is located on the right side of the headrail. If your shade is mounted on the inside of your window frame, remove the shade to access the mechanism.

3. Use a flat-head screwdriver to adjust mechanism.

4. Turn clockwise to lower stop point and counter- clockwise to raise stop point.

5. To ensure the new stop point is to your liking, pull the shade down and release a few times.

6. Once you’ve reached your desired Stop Point, re-install onto window frame.
   

How to Adjust the Lift Tension

1. The lift speed has been preset, however you may make adjustments according to your preference.

2. The tension adjuster is located on the left side of the headrail. If your shade is mounted on the inside of your window frame, remove the shade to access the mechanism.

3. Lower the shade to any length and lock into place.

4. Use a flat-head screwdriver to adjust mechanism. Turn clockwise to increase lift speed and counter- clockwise to decrease.

5. To ensure the newly adjusted speed is to your liking, pull the shade down and release a few times.

6. Once you’ve reached your desired speed, re-install onto window frame.

Cleaning and Maintenance

The curtain rod be wiped clean with a damp sponge. To clean the shade fabric, use a feather duster or vacuum lightly using the soft brush attachment.

Warranty

For a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, the manufacturer will replace this window covering with one of equal or superior value, if this window covering is found to be defective in material or workmanship. To obtain warranty service contact our customer service. This warranty does not cover damage of defects caused by or resulting from improper maintenance, negligent or improper use, abuse, misuse, neglect, accidents, act of God, alteration, commercial use, installation, removal or reinstallation. This warranty is restricted to normal consumer use within the United States and Canada.
