Caution! Risk of injury!
- Keep this device and the batteries out of reach of children.
- Small parts can be swallowed by children (under three years old).
- Batteries contain harmful acids and may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help immediately.
- Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
- Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking. Make sure the polarities are correct. Never use a combination of old and new batteries together, nor batteries of different types.
- Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period of time.
- Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes when handling leaking batteries. In case of contact, immediately rinse the affected areas with water and consult a doctor.
Important information on product safety!
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures or shocks.
- The product must not come into contact with water or moisture. Suitable for indoor use only.
- Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.

Getting started
- Lift up the stand and open the battery compartment. Insert three new AA 1.5 V batteries, polarity as illustrated. Close the battery compartment.
- The device will alert you with a beep and all LCD segments will be displayed for a short moment. The device is ready for use.
Settings
- Press and hold the + or – button in setting mode for fast mode.
- The device will automatically quit the setting mode if no button is pressed for 20 seconds.
Time setting
- Press and hold the ALARM SET button in normal mode for three seconds.
- 24 Hr (default) will be flashing. Press the + or – button to choose 12 Hr or 24 Hr system. In the 12-HR system AM (before noon) or PM (after noon) appears on the display.
- Confirm the setting with the ALARM SET button.
- The hour digit will be flashing. Press the + or – button to adjust hours.
- Confirm the setting with the ALARM SET button. Set the minutes in the same way.
- Confirm the setting with the ALARM SET button.
- The display shows the current time.
Alarm functions
Alarm time setting
- Press the ALARM SET button briefly in normal mode to enter the alarm setting mode. The hour digit will be flashing (default 7:00). Press the + or – button to adjust hours.
- Confirm the setting with the ALARM SET button. Set the minutes in the same way.
- Confirm the setting with the ALARM SET button.
- The adjusted alarm time appears on the display.
Activate and deactivate the alarm functions
- To activate/deactivate the respective alarm function, move the alarm sound ON/OFF switch and/or the vibration ON/OFF switch to ON or OFF.
- The corresponding alarm symbol appears/disappears on the display.

Wake-up process
- When the alarm is activated, the alarm starts to ring and/or to vibrate when the set alarm time is reached. The alarm time flashes and the backlight will turn on for 20 seconds.
- Press briefly any button (except SNOOZE LIGHT) or press and hold the SNOOZE LIGHT button and the alarm functions will stop. If the alarm is not stopped manually, the vibration and/or the ascending alarm tone automatically turn off after two minutes and it will be reactivated at the same set time on the following day.
- The alarm symbols remain on the display.
- When the alarm rings and/or vibrates, press the SNOOZE LIGHT button and the snooze function is activated. The snooze symbol flashes on the display.
- The alarm will be interrupted for 5 minutes.

- Press briefly any button (except SNOOZE LIGHT) or press and hold the SNOOZE LIGHT button and the snooze function will stop.
Display light
- Press the SNOOZE LIGHT button. The backlight turns on for 5 seconds.
Support/key lock
- The foldable stand also serves as a key lock and protects against unwanted activation of the device.
- If you fold the support up, all buttons (except SNOOZE LIGHT) are locked. For table standing fold the support down.
Battery replacement
- The battery in the upper battery compartment powers the dis-play.
- The remaining two batteries power the alarm functions.
- When the display function starts to fade, the battery symbol appears on the display.
- Please change all three batteries 1,5 V AA.
Troubleshooting
Problem : Solution

- Ensure the batteries’ polarities are correct

- Activate the function by moving the switch

Waste disposal
This product and its packaging have been manufactured using high-grade

Disposal of the electrical device
Remove non-permanently installed batteries and rechargeable batteries from the
device and dispose of them separately.
This product is labelled in accordance with the EU Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE).
This product must not be disposed of in ordinary household waste. As a
consumer, you are required to take end-of-life devices to a designated
collection point for the disposal of electrical and electronic equipment, in
order to ensure environmentally-compatible dispos-al. The return service is
free of charge. Observe the current regulations in place!
Disposal of the batteries
Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable bat-teries with ordinary
household waste. They contain pollutants which, if improperly disposed of, can
harm the environment and human health.
As a consumer, you are required by law to take them to your retail store or to
an appropriate collection site depending on national or local regulations in
order to protect the environment. The return service is free of charge.
The symbols for the contained heavy metals are:
Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead.
