GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
These instructions should be read carefully and retained after installation by the end user for future reference and maintenance. These instructions should be used to aid installation of the following products: AX100CCT / AX150CCT / AX200CCT / AX100R / AX150R / AX200R / AX100L60 / AX150L60 / AX200L60 / AXSMOD / AXDMOD / AXREMC / AXBRAC
SAFETY
- This product must be installed in accordance with the latest edition of the IEE Wiring
- Regulations (BS7671) and current Building Regulations. If in any doubt, consult a qualified electrician
- Please isolate mains prior to installation or maintenance
- Check the total load on the circuit (including when this luminaire is fitted) does not exceed the rating of the circuit cable, fuse or circuit breaker
- Please note the IP (Ingress Protection) rating of this product when deciding the location for installation
- Do not overload this accessory or subject it to conditions outside its rating
- This product is for indoor use only
- This product is Class I and must be earthed
- This product is IP65 rated
INSTALLATION
Note – Microwave sensors may not be suitable for all installations, for example enclosed spaces, as they are able to detect movement through non- metallic surfaces like plasterboard and thin doors
SUSPENSION MOUNTING
To suspend the fitting, screw the mounting hoop into the top of the luminaire
and secure with the screw provided
SURFACE MOUNTING
- When installing with the AXBRAC surface mount bracket (not included): using the bracket as a template, mark the location for, and drill the fixing holes ensuring not to infringe with any gas/water pipes or electrical cables
- Secure the bracket to the surface using suitable fixings which must be adequate to support the weight of the luminaire
- Remove the bolts on either side of the bracket, align the bracket to the luminaire screw holes, and refasten the bolts
WIRING

* Provide power to the required point of installation
- Connect the luminaire to the mains supply ensuring the correct polarity is observed: Live (brown), Earth (green/yellow), Neutral (blue)
- The luminaire can be connected to a 0-10V dimmer (see Fig. 2). Please note that both Signal DIP switches must be in the ON position for this function to operate. This luminaire can be controlled via DALI (AXDMOD is required, control gear and software not supplied)
- Select the colour temperature by means of the DIP switches located on the front of the fitting
AXxxxL60 LENS
To replace the 120° lens supplied with the optional 60° lens AXxxxL60: remove
all the screws that attach the lens to the luminaire, remove the lens, then
attach the 60° lens and replace the screws
AXxxxR REFLECTOR
Using an Allen key (not provided) remove the outer screws around the lens,
match the reflector onto the holes, attach to the luminaire using the screws
provided with the reflector
AXDMOD / AXSMOD MODULE
- Ensuring there is no power to the fitting, remove the IP65 cover from the centre of the luminaire by rotating anti-clockwise 30°
- Align either the Microwave sensor or DALI module into the centre of the fitting, push on and turn clockwise 30°
AXREMC REMOTE CONTROL PROGRAMMER
- Insert 2 xAA batteries (not included)
- Adjust sensor settings as required
- Ihe sensor remote has a maximum range of15m
WARNING
This product must be disconnected from the circuit if subjected to any high voltage or insulation resistance testing. Irreparable damage will occur if this instruction is not followed.
GENERAL
This product contains a light source of energy efficiency class D to Regulation (EU) No. 2019/2015 and (UK) 2021 No. 1095. This product contains a non-replaceable LED light source and non-replaceable control gear.
WARRANTY
This product has a warranty of 5 years from date of purchase. Failure to install this product in accordance with the current edition of the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671), improper use, or removal of the batch code will invalidate the warranty. If this product should fail within its warranty period, it should be returned to the place of purchase for a free of charge replacement. ML Accessories does not accept responsibility for any installation costs associated with the replacement product. Your statutory rights are not affected. ML Accessories reserve the right to alter product specification without prior notice.
