LED LIGHTING SYSTEM
The Tecatlantis and Terratlantis LED lighting systems are extremely economical, saving up to 50% energy. With a long lasting life, they operate under low voltage, providing a high degree of security. The emitted light is of excellent quality, being suitable for the proper development of fish and plants.
INSTALLATION GUIDE
Make sure that all the parts of the product are in good condition when removed
from the package and before any installation.
This luminaire only operates with the power adaptor supplied or recommended by
the manufacturer. The use of an inadequate adaptor may result in an unsafe
condition for the user. LED lighting units ready to be used.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING – Please read carefully! Avoid accidents that can damage the product or harm the user. Ensure the good operation of this equipment!
- DO NOT disassemble.
- Do not operate if any part it has a damaged cable or plug, is malfunctioning, has been dropped or damaged in any way.
- The external flexible cable or cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the luminaire shall be destroyed.
- The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole luminaire shall be replaced.
- Protect the plug and the cable of the contact with water.
- Do not cover the light unit in danger of overheating.
- To prevent the plug to get wet, you should position the tank beside the socket to prevent water from dripping into it.
- Always leave a “drip-loop” in the cable (fig. 1) to prevent water running down the cable to the socket. If the socket or the plug gets wet, do not disconnect.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Always turn off the application when not in use, before removing any part and before cleaning it. Hold the plug and unplug it from the socket.
- Do not use the light unit for any other purpose than the one intended. The use of non-recommended equipment or not sold by the manufacturer may cause an unsafe condition.
- Read and observe all the important notices on the lighting unit.
- If you need to use an extension, you should choose one with adequate characteristics. An extension for a given current or with less power than that of the application can suffer overheating.
- For indoor use only.
MANUTENÇÃO
Keep the lighting unit clean to guarantee a good operation and the best quality lighting. Do not use aggressive cleaning materials. Chose soft cloth moistened with mild detergent.
DISPOSAL
Do not throw away this product with common garbage. Check with your legal authorities for disposal information. Protect the environment!
WARRANTY
The LED lighting systems have warranty of 24 months (unless otherwise stated on the product packaging) against manufacturing defects. Damages caused by dropping or misuse are not protected by our warranty. Do not disassemble! Do not open! The warranty gets invalid. The failure of less than 5% of the total number of LEDS shall not be considered a defect. This warranty only protects the failure of more than 5% of the total number of LEDS. We are only responsible for defects from the product itself and its parts. Animals or personal propriety are not protected by our warranty. Shipping costs of the defective product are at the customer charge. In cases where the warranty is applied, the proof of purchase must be enclosed with the product. The LED light units from Tecatlantis are mercury free. Made in Portugal.
Please keep the original invoice in case warranty service is required.
