POSITION OF THE CONTROLS

Position of the Controls

  1. SET Key: Save.
  2. MEM Key: Indirect memory.
  3. MUTE Key: Mute microphone.
  4. Incoming call’ indicator light
  5. Direct memory keys.
  6. Numeric keypad
  7. key. Hands-free.
  8. Key. Repeat the last dialed number.

SCOPE OF DELIVERY

In the box of your phone, you should find the following components:

  • 1 Telephone.
  • 1 Telephone cable.
  • 1 Ribbon cable.
  • User manual.

INSTALLATION

This telephone should only be connected to lines with the additional multi- frequency dialing method.

Connect one end of the ribbon cable to the LINE jack (15) on the back of the phone and the other end to the phone jack.

Connect one end of the telephone cord to the cord jack on the bottom of the telephone and the other end to the other cord jack on the left side of the base. Make sure you hear a tone when you lift the handset.

To complete the installation, select one of the two mounts: Table mount or Wall mount (hanging on the wall).

For wall mounting, drill a hole in the wall, insert a screw and attach the base of the telephone in the recess (16) provided for this purpose on the underside of the telephone. Make sure that the device is perfectly fixed to the wall.

  • To keep the handset hanging, you must remove the hook section, turn it 180° and replace it with the tab facing up. This prevents the handset from falling off when you hang it up

HOW IT WORKS

ANSWERING A CALL / RECEIVED CALLS

When a call is received, the ring tone sounds, and the indicator light (4) lights up with each ring.

  • Pick up the handset:
    • Pick up the handset.
    • Start the conversation.
    • When you are done, place the phone back into the cradle.
  • Switch to handsfree mode:
    • During the call, press the (7) key (7) and leave the phone in the base.
    • When you are finished, press the (7) key.
  • Pick up in hands-free mode:
    • Press the (7), key to pick up.
    • Start the conversation. Speak directly into the speaker from a distance of 30 cm or less to be heard clearly.
    • When you are finished, press the (7) key again
HOW TO MAKE A CALL
  • From the phone:
    • Pick up the handset. The indicator lamp (9) lights up.
    • Wait for the dial tone and dial the desired number.
    • When you are done, put the phone back in its tray.
  • From hands-free mode:
    • Press the (7) key.
    • Wait for the dial tone and dial the desired number
    • When you are finished, press the (7) key again
REPEAT THE LAST DIALED NUMBER

If you want to call back the last dialed number:

  • Lift the handset and press the repeat key for the last dialed number (8).
  • When you are done, place the phone back into the cradle.
SET RINGTONE VOLUME

Set the ringtone switch (13) to one of the three , to increase, decrease or switch off the volume.

VOLUME CONTROL IN HANDS-FREE MODE

During hands-free mode, move the switch (12) to set the desired volume.

MUTE

If you want the other party NOT to hear you, maintain pressed the Mute key (3). To be heard again, stop pressing the same key.

R KEY

This key allows you to access the various services offered by your telephone company or switchboard, such as: “call forwarding”, “call waiting”, “answering machine”, etc.

To do this, press the R key (10) and the corresponding code. The R time or “flash” time for Spain is 100ms.

If you want to adjust this R or “Flash” time, use the “FLASH” button (11) on the right side of the base.

STORED DATA ASSOCIATED WITH A PHOTO

Your phone has three direct memory keys (5), where you can store important or frequently used numbers.

The photos of the device are only for example and the memories are empty.

On each key, remove the plastic tab that holds the original photo and insert the photo of a family member or service. Reinsert the plastic tab.

SAVE A PHONE NUMBER
  • Lift the handset or press the (7).
  • Press the SET key (1) and then select the number you want to save.
  • Press one of the memory keys (5) at the position where you want to save the number.
  • When you are finished, place the phone back in the cradle or press the (7).
DIAL NUMBER FROM MEMORY WITH PHOTO
  • Lift the handset or press the (7) key.
  • Press one of the memory keys (5) and the saved number will be dialed automatically.
  • When you are finished, place the phone back in the cradle or press the (7) key

INDIRECT MEMORY

This phone has 10 indirect memory locations where you can save phone numbers for easy access.

SAVE A PHONE NUMBER
  • Lift the handset or press the (7) key.
  • Press the SET key (1) and then select the number you want to save.
  • Press the MEM key ( 2 ) followed by a key (0 to 9) on which it is to be saved.
  • When you are finished, place the phone back in the cradle or press the (7) key. Example: Press SET, dial 945297028, press MEM, and press 1.
DIAL FROM MEMORY
  • Lift the handset or press the (7) key to pick up the line.
  • Press the MEM key followed by the key number under which the contact is saved.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

PROBLEM SOLUTION

When the handset is picked up, no sound is heard and the red “In use” indicator lights up.| Check the handset cord connections at both ends.
When you pick up the handset, no sound is heard and the red picked up/ring indicator remains off.| Check the connection of the LINE (15) between the device and the telephone network of your house.
The phone does not dial the number.| Make sure that a key tone is heard in the telephone for each digit. In this case, your line does not support touch-tone dialing.
The ringtone is very quie| Set the ringtone volume RINGTONE (13) to one of three positions high volume, low volume or switch off.
When ADSL is connected, the sound quality is poor.|

  • Make sure you have an ADSL filter connected directly to each jack used in the house.
  • Make sure that the modem and the phone are plugged into the correct filter slot (a separate one for each device).
  • The filters may be defective. Replace and test again.
