Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimise the risk of injury we urge that our clients take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instructions carefully and make sure you have understood its content. Keep these operation instructions safe.
Safety instructions/warnings
The owner and/or user must have read and understood the operating instructions of the device before using it. Installed personnel should be cautious, competent, trained and qualified in the safe handling of the working equipment used when working on engines and their components. Warnings should be read and understood.
Technical specifications
CAUTION
- This device has a maximum lifting capacity of 135 kg. Do not exceed it.
- Only use this device for lifting motorcycles; do not abuse it for any purpose that it has not been designed for.
- Always make sure to keep the lift out of the reach of children as well as of unauthorised persons.
- Only use the device on dry, even, and sturdy ground and ensure that the working area is tidy and well-lit.
- Make sure to properly secure the motorcycle before lifting it.
- Once the lift has reached its working height make sure the safety pin clicked into place as it prevents the lift from retracting.
- Be especially cautious while the lift is in motion and keep your hands and feet away from moving parts.
- Make sure you check the area beneath the lift and ensure that it is not obstructed by items, before lowering the lift.
- This device must not be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
- Do not modify the lift in any way.
- Do not expose the lift to rain, snow, or other sources of moisture.
- Make sure to have read and understood the information and instructions contained in this instruction manual before using the lift as incorrect handling might cause damage to the device and its surroundings and lead to grave injuries.
Maintenance
- When not in use, the lift should be stored within a dry room to prevent corrosion. It should further be stored in a way that makes it inaccessible to children and any unauthorised individuals.
- Always keep the lift clean and free from oil and grease residue. Make sure to only apply grease to its joints.
- Regularly check the lifting and pressure pistons to ensure that they are corrosion-free. Only utilise a clean piece of cloth for cleaning procedures.
- Check all the parts before using the lift. Do not use the device if a part should be broken or damaged. Perform the necessary repairs before utilising the device again.
- If a decrease in lifting capacity should occur, open the drain valve, and rapidly pump between 15 to 20 times to remove the excess air from the hydraulic system.
- Make sure to have read and understood the information and instructions contained in this in-struction manual before using the lift as incorrect handling might cause damage to the device and its surroundings and lead to grave injuries.
