ASSEMBLY

Hard-Head-02227-Pallet-Truck-FIG1 Hard-
Head-02227-Pallet-Truck-FIG2 Tools needed for assembly: Hammer, slotted head screwdriver, 14 mm spanner. Check that the safety pin is correctly

  1. inserted in the holes on each side of the pump housing. If the safety pin is not correctly inserted in both holes, press the spring together by pressing down the pump piston with a clamp. Adjust the safety pin so that it sits correctly in place and carefully remove the clamp.
    FIG. 1

  2. Put the handle pin in its holes and tap a lock pin in on one side with a hammer.
    FIG. 2

  3. Check that the hole in the middle of the pin is turned towards you.
    FIG. 3

  4. If the hole is turned away, put the pin in from the other side.
    IMPORTANT:
The chain for the lifting/lowering lever runs through this hole. The chain will be over-tensioned if the pin is put in the wrong way, which will make it difficult to use the lifting/lowering lever.
    FIG. 4

  5. Pull out the handle pin all the way.

  6. Pull the chain outside the pump piston. If the chain is left in its normal position it will be impossible to pull the chain through the hole in the handle pin and there is a risk of material damage. Align the hole to the hole in the pump housing and insert the handle pin.
    FIG. 5

  7. Check that the handle pin has passed through the handle and sticks out on the other side.
    FIG. 6

  8. Bring down the handle to relieve the safety pin. Carefully remove the safety pin.Hard-Head-02227-Pallet-Truck-FIG3 Hard-Head-02227-Pallet-Truck-FIG4 Hard-Head-02227-Pallet-Truck-FIG5

  9. Put the chain and the nut in the handle again, through the hole in the middle of the handle pin. Move the lifting/lowering lever to its lowest position to enable this.
    FIG. 8

  10. When the chain is correctly in place, check that it can move freely.
    FIG. 9

  11. Press with both hands on the valve cam to lift the hook inside the housing and hook the end of the chain on the cam (figure on right)
    FIG. 10
    FIG. 11

  12. Pump the handle a few times to raise the forks. Put the lifting/lowering lever in position B. Adjust the valve cam with a slotted head screwdriver anda 14 mm spanner so that the handle does not lower or lift when pumping with the handle.
    FIG. 12

  13. Pump the handle with full stroke length to fill and bleed the hydraulic system. Check the lifting/lowering lever with the handle in its lowest position, where the chain is fully tensioned. When the product is correctly adjusted and working, tap the lock pin in the other end of the handle pin With a hammer.
