ASSEMBLY
NOTE:
The product must be fully and correctly assembled before use.

  1. Check that the safety pins (5) are inserted in the pump.
  2. Tap the shaft pin (6)in the bolt (4) with a hammer, see figure 4.
  3. Fit the drawbar (2) in the pump and push the bolt (4) through the drawbar (2). Check that the chain (7) hangs out behind the drawbar, see figure 5.

USE

Check that the product is completely and correctly assembled. Always check before use that:

  • the product is undamaged
  • that all screw unions are tightened
  • there is no leakage of hydraulic oil
  • the level of hydraulic oil is correct
  • all labels are intact and legible

LEVER POSITIONING
The control lever (see figure 9) in the drawbar handle has the following three positions.

  1. Lowering of lifting fork – pull up the control lever. The control lever returns with spring action to neutral when released.
  2. Neutral – this position is used for moving. The movement of the drawbar does not affect the pump and fork height in this position.
  3. Raising the lifting fork – press down the control lever. The fork is raised when the drawbar is moved up and down.

NOTE:
Check that the load sits firmly on the pallet. Never exceed the rated load of the product.
TRANSPORT
The product must be secured when transported so that it cannot roll or move. Remove any debris from the product.
STORAGE
Lower the fork completely to relieve the pressure in the hydraulic circuit.
This prolongs the life span of the seals and valves.
Store the product and all accessories in a clean, dry frost-free place, protected from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children.
The best storage temperature is 5 to 30°C.
Store the product if possible in the original pack.
Cover the product to protect it from dust and dirt.

MAINTENANCE

  • Clean the product after it has been used.
  • Wipe any dust off the product with a cloth.
  • Clean the product regularly with a cloth moistened with water and a mild detergent. Do not use strong detergents or solvents, they can damage the plastic parts. Make sure that no water gets into the product.

NOTE:
Only use spare parts recommended by the manufacturer.
Lower the fork completely to relieve the pressure in the hydraulic circuit before working on the hydraulic components.
BLEEDING THE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
The functioning of the pump can in time lead to the accumulation of air in the hydraulic circuit. This can prevent the fork from lifting. It is corrected by moving the control lever (1) to the lowering position and pumping repeatedly with the drawbar.
LUBRICATION
Lubricate all the bearings and joints with a suitable lubricant.
CLEARING THE OVERPRESSURE VALVE
To clear the overpressure valve, pump the drawbar quickly until the fork reaches it top position. Now pull down the control lever (1) to the lowering position.
CHANGING THE OIL
Open the oil filler plug (C) and oil drain screw (D) (see figure 2). Drain all the oil into a suitable container. Replace the oil drain screw (D) and fill 0.25 l of hydraulic oil through the oil filler plug (3) hole. Replace the oilfiller plug (3).
SERVICE INFORMATION
The following parts are to be considered as consumable parts. Wearing parts*: seals, wheels, hydraulic oil.

  • Can be sold separately.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Follow the troubleshooting schedule below if the product stops working properly. Contact an authorised service centre if normal functionality cannot be restored with the help of the troubleshooting schedule.
