Install the wireless switch
Activating the switch
Remove the plate of the switch (see paragraph 2) and remove the tab on the battery.

Installing the unit

You have two options:

  • Use the supplied double-sided adhesives to attach the wireless switch on the wall, making sure the LED on the switch is facing up.
  • Use small screws (not included). For this option, remove the wireless switch frame and place the 2 screws into the slot, making sure theLED is at the top of the switch. Then replace the frame.

Changing the battery

CHARGING

The switch LED will become dim when battery is low. To change the battery

  1. Remove the front frame and faceplate of the switch
  2. Using a small flat screwdriver, remove the battery compartment by pressing the small notch inwards while pulling downwards.
  3. Replace the old battery with a new CR2032 – 3V type, making sure to place it with the + side facing up.
  4. Replace the battery compartment, faceplate and the front frame until you hear a click.

Warning: Risk of explosion if the battery is not replaced correctly. Replace only with the same type or an equivalent type.
This product contains a coin / button cell battery. If the coin / button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Linking the switch with the receiver

SWITCH RECEIVER

  1. Connect the receiver (module, socket, connected switch).
  2. Bring the wireless switch close to the DiO or DiO Connect receiver and press the receiver learn button (see receiver manual); the receiver LED flashes.
  3. Press the ON button of the switch to link them.
  4. The LED on the module/socket flashes twice to confirm the association.

Deleting the link between the wireless switch and a DiO receiver

If you want to delete a receiver from the switch:

  1. Bring the switch close to the receiver to be deleted and press the receiver learn button (socket, module — see product manual); the receiver LED flashes.
  2. Press the “OFF” button on the switch (top of the switch, where the LED is), the LED on the receiver will blink twice to confirm the deletion.

Use

ON/OFF control: Press the ON button of the wireless switch once to turn your light, device, roller shutter, etc. on, or the OFF button once to turn it off.
Dimmer (only with a dimmer module, socket): Press the ON button of the wireless switch twice; the brightness starts to increase/decrease; press ON again to stop the increase/decrease. When you turn off the light with the OFF button, the last brightness level selected will be retained in the receiver memory.
DIO 1.0 receivers (lighting module, shutter module, socket, bulb, etc.) can be controlled individually or in conjunction with other receivers (e.g.: a DIO switch doses the shutter linked to a 010 shutter module and at the same time turns on the lamp connected to the lighting module, and the DiO remote control turns the lamp on and off individually).

Troubleshooting

The receiver is not activated when the remote control is pressed:

  • Check the polarity of the battery and/or that it is not flat.
  • Make sure that the wireless switch is linked to the receiver and that the receiver is connected correctly.
  • Check the status of the receiver memory (see receiver manual).

    Important:
The range between the receiver and the remote control is 50 m, but this may be reduced by the thickness of the walls or a currently wireless environment. A minimum distance of 1-2 m is necessary between two Di0 receivers (module, socket and/or bulb). Do not use in a damp location.
