Installation
Where should I install the Solar Panel?
You can mount the solar panel up to 13.1 ft/4 m (max cable length) away from your Blink camera. Install your solar panel at a location where it will receive a few hours of direct sunlight daily. The solar panel can be mounted onto walls or roofs. If you do not wish to drill holes we recommend you to buy our Solar Panel Gutter Mount from Amazon (B07KHXD58X).
How do I mount the Solar Panel?
You can mount your device directly onto wood using the included screws. If you are mounting onto brick, concrete, or stucco, mark the holes first using the bracket, drill a hole for the anchors. You can then insert the anchors and subsequently use the screws to secure the mount.
How do I adjust the Solar Panel?
The 360-degrees rotatable mounting bracket allows you to adjust the Solar Panel in the best position to absorb sunlight.
How do I connect the Solar Panel to the Blink?
Attach the Wasserstein Solar Panel to your Blink camera with the specially constructed weatherproof charging cable. The charging cable is designed to provide a continuous charge to your camera even on days with minimal direct sunlight. In order to plug this charger in the camera, open the rubber cap located at the bottom of your camera, and plug in the cable’s connector. Press firmly after you have plugged in the cable to make sure it is sealed well
