for a period of two years from the original date of consumer purchase. This
warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of this product only and does

Introduction:
The N4001 is a Z-Wave™ enabled device and is fully compatible with any Z-Wave
Plus™ enabled network.
Each module is designed to act as a repeater,which will re-transmit a radio
frequency (RF) signal by routing the around obstacles and radio dead spots to
ensure that the signal is received at its intended destination.
N4001 is a security enabled Z-Wave Plus™ device. A security Enabled Z-Wave
Plus™ Controller must be used in order to fully utilize the product.

ADD or Remove the N4001 from the existing Z-Wave™ home control network with
your primary controller.
- Refer to your primary controller instructions to process the inclusion / exclusion setup procedure.
- When prompted by your primary controller, click the PROG button five times in one second.
Include N4001 to/from a Z-Wave™ Gateway with supporting Security.The N4001 can
support the Primary Controller that implemented the security S2.
Notice: Including a node ID allocated by Z-Wave™ Controller means “Add”
or “Inclusion”. Excluding a node ID allocated by
Z-Wave™ Controller means “Remove” or “Exclusion”.

Z-Wave™ Configuration Parameters
You may use the below configuration parameters to change settings of the corresponding functionality.

Status LED Configuration
Paramter No: 1(0x01) Size:1 Byte Value: 00(default) outlet on,led on.
Value: 01 outlet on,led off.
Value: 02 led off, led no work. -
Count Down Configuration(The countdown time, the socket closed)
Paramter No: 2(0x02) Size:2 Byte Value: 00 00(default) no timer.
Value Scope :0—-36000S(Countdown time can be set up for 10 hours)
Support for Association Groups
N4001 supports 2 association groups. A maximum of 5 node ID’s (nonmulti-
channel devices) can be assigned to these association groups.
Association group_1: Z-Wave Plus™ Lifeline Maximum 5 node
Association group_1 is default to associate with the primary controller
(Gateway/Hub/Controller) for N4001 Status change report,
- N4001 will trigger AUTO report function if the Switch status had been changed.
- Device Reset Locally Notification(Only report when the N4001 Switch Module has been triggered the RESET TO DEFAULT)
Association group_2: basic set command
When the output of the N4001 socket is changed, On (0xFF) or Off (0x00). The
N4001 will automatically send out a related basic set command.
On (0xFF) or Off (0x00) to its associated group.
Support for Over temperature protection
N4001 support Over temperature protection,When the temperature is greater than
105 degrees Celsius, the Heat Alarm signal is sent out
Notification Type : Heat Alarm 0x04 . Event :Overheat detected 0x02
Restoring Factory Defaults
All Configuration Parameters values and Association information will be
restored to factory default settings and excluded from the network.
When the device is removed from the host, it is returned to the factory
settings
MANUAL RESET
- Power off N4001
- keep holding the PROG button
- Power on,Press and keep holding the PROG button for no less than 10 seconds.
Remark : All the setting and data will be permanently deleted.
Please use this procedure only when the network primary controller is missing
or otherwise inoperable.
