Install the plug
Plug your lamp or appliance into the DiO socket, and the DiO socket into your wall plug. Turn the power switch on the device to the on position.
Connect the socket to a DiO 1.0 control
This product is compatible with all DiO 1.0 controls: remote control switches, wireless sensors and the DiO home automation system for control via your smartphone.
Associate the outlet with a remote control, switch or sensor
- Connect your DiO outlet with the lamp plugged into the wall socket.
- Move the remote control (or switch, DiO sensor) to the outlet and within 6 seconds press
the ‘ON’ button on the remote control, wireless switch or DiO sensor, the lamp will flash twice to confirm the association.
Caution: If you do not press the ON button on your control within 6
seconds, the DiO outlet will exit learning mode; you must remove the mini
outlet from the power supply and replace it.
The socket can be linked to up to 32 different DiO controls.
Linking the outlet to the D10 control panel
Link your outlet to your DiO central unit, to control your lighting with your
smartphone and
create scenarios, for example to turn on/off your lamp at a specific time orto
simulate a presence during your absence. Refer to your control panel’s manual
to add an outlet. By using the DiO Home+ control panel, you make your outlet
compatible with smart speakers (Google Home and Amazon Alexa), so you can
control your devices by voice.
Delete a command
- Bring the control close to the outlet and press the learning button for 3 seconds, the LED will start to blink slowly.
- Press the ‘OFF’ button of the control to be deleted, the lamp will blink twice to confirm the deletion.
Troubleshooting
The light or device does not turn on:
– Check that your outlet is properly connected to the power supply.
– Check the polarity and/or the exhaustion of the batteries of your control. –
Check that the switch on your light or appliance is in the on position.
Important: A minimum distance of 1-2m is required between two DiO
receivers (module and/or socket). The range between the outlet and the DiO
control may be reduced by thick walls, or an existing wireless environment.
Caution: Do not use in a damp area.
