SAFETY INFORMATION
warnings
- Please read and understand this entire manual before using this product
- Do not connect the tester to a live circuit. Connecting the tester to voltage presents a shock hazard and may damage the tester.
- Improper use of this tester can cause damage, shock, injury or death.
- Read and understand this user’s guide before use.
- Do not use the tester in a wet or damp environment or during electrical stoms
- Do not use the tester near explosive gases, dust or vapor.
- Replace the battery ass oon s the low battery warning appears.
- Inspect the condition of the test leads and the tester itself for any damage before use.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Do not connect to live wires. Use only on unpowered circuits. Momentarily press the ON/OFF O button, the tester will beep once and the red work LED will glow to indicate the tester is on and ready for use. If the red work LED is flashing, it means the battery is almost exhausted, replace the battery to restore operation. If the battery voltage is too low for reliable operation, the tester will beep three times and the red work LED will turn off indicating the tester is not operational.
Momentarily press the ON/OFF button again, the tester will beep twice and the
red work LED will turn off to indicate the tester is not operational.
NOTE: To extend battery life, the tester will automatically turn off after
approximately 30 minutes of inactivity. When powering down, the beeper will
beep twice and all LED will turn off. Refer to the Examples shown below for
checking continuity and polarity.

Example 3: Tracing Multiple Cables with Remote.
NOTE: If there is a short in the cable between the tester and the remote, the green and red LEDs on the tester will flash rapidly and the remote LED will not glow. Continuity Test with Remote, the Positive (+) polarity test cables resistance range approx. 0-1.2k2, and the Reverse (-) polarity test cables resistance range approx. 0-3.2k0. If the cable resistance out of the test range, some abnomal situation will occur, as shown in the following chart.

Battery Replacement
- Loosen the one screw.
- Remove the battery cover.
- Replace one 9 volt battery.
- Install the battery cover and tighten the screw
Fuse Replacement
The fuse will blow if the tester is connected to a live circuit. If the cable
voltage does not exceed 100V, replace the fuse with the same specification,
usually can resume normal use. Higher voltage will cause permanent damage. Do
not use the tester if there are any signs of damage.
Follow the steps below to replace the fuse.
- Remove battery, and loosen the 4 screws on back cover.
- Open the back cover carefully.
- Gently remove fuse and install certified fuse (100mA/250V fast blow, 5x20mm) into the holder. Do not substitute.
- Install the back cover and battery cover and tighten the Screws.
NOTE: Do not operate the tester until the back cover is installed and securely fastened.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
- Keep the meter dry. if it gets wet, wipe it off.
- Keep the meter clean. Wipe the dirt with a soft cloth dampened with water. Do not use chemicals, cleaning solvents, or detergents.
- Use and store the meter in normal temperatures. lemperature extremes can shorten the life of the electronic parts and distort or melt plastic parts
- Handle the meter gently and carefully. Dropping it can damage the electronic parts or the case.
- Use only fresh battery of the recommended size and type. Battery are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Remove old or weak battery so they do not leak and damage the unit
- Do not mıx old and new battery. Do not mix diferent types of battery such as alkaline, carbon-zinc, or rechargeable battery. Non-rechargeable battery are not to be recharged.
- If the meter is to be stored for a long period of time, the battery should be removed to prevent damage to the unit.
