To ensure personal safety and proper maintenance, please read this section and the caution statements on the unit.

WARNING
If the unit begins to emit smoke, smells like something is burning, or makes strange noises, disconnect all power connections immediately and contact your dealer for advice.
Attempting to use a malfunctioning unit may result in fire, electric shock, or equipment damage.
Do not open the cabinet or modify the unit.
Opening the cabinet or modifying the unit may result in fire, electric shock, or burn.
Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
Do not attempt to service this product yourself as opening or removing covers may result in fire, electric shock, or equipment damage.

Keep small objects or liquids away from the unit.
Small objects accidentally falling through the ventilation slots into the cabinet or spillage into the cabinet may result in fire, electric shock, or equipment damage. If an object or liquid falls/spills into the cabinet, unplug the unit
immediately. Have the unit checked by a qualified service engineer before using it again.

Set up the unit in an appropriate location.
Not doing so may result in fire, electric shock, or equipment damage.

  • Do not place the unit outdoors.
  • Do not install the unit in transportation systems (ship, aircraft, trains, automobiles, etc.)
  • Do not place the unit in a dusty or humid environment.
  • Do not place the unit in a location where the steam comes directly on the screen.
  • Do not place the unit near heat generating devices or a humidifier.
  • Do not place the unit in an inflammable gas environment.

To avoid danger of suffocation, keep the plastic packing bags away from babies and children.
Use the enclosed power cord and connect to the standard power outlet of your country.
Be sure to remain within the rated voltage of the power cord. Not doing so may result in fire or electric shock.

To disconnect the power cord, grasp the plug firmly and pull. Tugging on the cord may damage and result in fire or electric shock.

The equipment must be connected to a grounded main outlet. Not doing so may result in fire or electric shock.

Use the correct voltage.

  • The unit is designed for use with a specific voltage only. Connection to another voltage than specified in this User’s Manual may cause fire, electric shock, or equipment damage.
  • Do not overload your power circuit, as this may result in fire or electric shock.

Handle the power cord with care.

  • Do not put the power cord under the unit or other heavy object.
  • Do not pull up or twist the power cord.

If the power cord is broken, stop to use it immediately. Using broken power cord may result in fire or electric shock.

Never touch the plug and power cord if it begins to thunder. 3 Touching them may result in electric shock.

Do not touch a damaged LCD panel directly with bare hands.
The liquid crystal that may leak from the panel is poisonous if it enters the eyes or mouth. If any part of the skin or body comes in direct contact with the panel, please wash thoroughly. If some physical symptoms result, please consult your doctor.

CAUTION
Handle with care when carrying the unit.
Disconnect the power cord and signal cables and remove the optional unit. Moving the unit with the cord or the option attached is dangerous. It may result in injury.

When handling the unit, grip the bottom of the unit firmly with both hands ensuring the panel faces outward before lifting.
Dropping the unit may result in injury or equipment damage.

Do not block the ventilation slots on the cabinet. Do not place any objects on the ventilation slots. Do not install the unit in a closed space.
Do not use the unit laid down or upside down.
Blocking the ventilation slots prevents proper airflow and may result in fire, electric shock, or equipment damage.

Do not touch the plug with wet hands. Doing so may result in electric shock.

Periodically clean the area around the plug. Dust, water, or oil on the plug may result in fire.

Unplug the unit before cleaning it.
Cleaning the unit while it is plugged into a power outlet may result in electric shock.
If you plan to leave the unit unused for an extended period, disconnect the power cord from the wall socket after turning off the power switch for the safety and the power conservation.

Installation

Rear Interface

Explanation of connectors
This section describes the jacks on the back panel of your MONITOR. There are several ways to connect devices.

  • DC: Power Adapter DC24V2A

  • HDMI: Lets you connect a device, such as a digital cable box, with an HDMI or a DVI output. HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) Provides an uncompressed digital connection that carries both video and audio data by way of an integrated mini-plug cable. Since HDMI technology is based on Digital Visual Interface (DVI), the jack on the back of your MONITOR is also compatible with DVI devices. HDMI Input Lets you connect a device, such as a digital cable box, with an HDMI output.

  • VGA: Connect your computer, or other device with a VGA output, to this jack using a 15 pin D-sub cable.

  • AUDIO IN: (Stereo mini jack) Use to obtain sound when a PC is connected to the VGA jack. Use a 3.5 mm stereo mini pin cable (sometimes
    referred to as 1/8” stereo mini pin) to connect a PC to your
    MONITOR.

  • USB/SD: Built-in MPEG-2/MPEG-4/H.264/Real Media/AVS Video Decoder. Supports maximum resolution up to 1080p@30fps.Supported memory card capacity:Up to 32GB.Supported file types:
    AVI/MPG/MPEG/XVID/VOB/DAT/MP4/TS/M2TS/MKV/H.264/RM/ RMVB.

  • IPC: Network interface with built-in IP camera.

  • AHD LOOP: Built-in AHD-camera video output.

Controls & Functions

Buttons on the lower-right part of the panel
If you cannot locate your remote, you can use the side panel buttons of your monitor to operate many of the monitor’s features.

  1. Turn on / off the monitor

  2. SOURCE: Accesses the available video input signals (HDMI、 Camera 、Media)

  3. MENU: Brings up the MONITOR Main menu. When in the OSD system,
    press MENU button to return to the previous menu or exit

  4. Turn on the volume. In the MONITOR menu system, acts like the
    right arrow button on the remote control and adjusts menu controls.

  5. Turn down the volume. In the MONITOR menu system, acts like the left arrow button on the remote control and adjusts menu control.

  6. Remote control signal receiver window

  7. Remote indicator: In red when standby mode, in blue when display.

HOW to use buttons
Use the buttons on the right side control panel to adjust the OSD

  1. ON/OFF the LCD monitor.
  2. Press “source”button to accesses the available video input signal menu,press +button to move the icon,press “source” again to enter the selected channel
  3. Press MENU button then press +/- button move highlight icon left / right.
  4. Press SOURCE button to enter the submenu,then press +/ Button to change the setting value.
  5. When you are done with the setting, press MENU button to return to the previous menu or exit.

  • Ensure the remote control is pointed toward the IR receiver on the display. No obstacles should be placed between the remote control and the receiver. The effective receiving distance for the signal is 3 meters

    1. To ensure a good condition of remote, the remote control should not be dropped or damaged in any way. It should also be kept dry and away from all heat sources.
    2. Battery replacement is needed when the remote controller acts inconsistently or stops operating the LCD display.

Choose the input source
If you hope to display the picture from the external input source ,before select the source make sure you have connect the devices to the monitor, otherwise, the none or no signal will appears on the screen, Press source button on the monitor or remote control, the menu show on the screen ,then press source to select which channel you need , and press“ +/- (>)” to enter it .

  • VGA: the input source from VGA
  • HDMI: the input source from HDMI
  • Camera: the input source from Built-in camera video
  • USB/SD:Monitor built-in multimedia displayer through USB or SD slot.

Picture: Remark

Picture mode: Select your prefered color module Press “OK “button to select picture modes, then press the “< or >” button to select “ Standard, Dynamic, Mild or User”. Finally, press “Menu” button to exit. Color Temperature: Select your prefered color Temperature, Press ”OK” button to Change the color intensity of the temperature Selected (Medium, Warm, Cool or User), you could change “RGB”. Finally, press “Menu” button to exit. Aspect Ratio: Change the screen beween 4:3 and 16:9, Press “OK “button to select picture scales, then press the ““button to select “ 4:3 or Full” . Finally, press “Menu” button to exit. Noise Reduction: press the  ““button to select five kinds of settings(Low, Middle, High, Off an Default” ), then press “Menu” button to exit.

Sound mode: Press“< or >” button to select sound modes, “ Music, Movie, Sports, standard or User” .Then, press “Menu” button to exit. Balance: Adjusts how much audio is sent to the left and right( -50 to +50).The intermediate value is 0, when indication value of balance increases toward +50, sound of the right and left speaker becomes stronger and weaker, respectively, when indication value of balance decrease toward -50 sound of the right and left speaker becomes weaker and stronger. Press “OK “button, then press the “< or

” button to adjust sound of the right and left. Finally, press “Menu” button to exit. MUTE: Press“< or >” button to select “On or Off”, Then, press “Menu” button to exit.

     OSD Language: There are nine kinds of languages. Press “< or >” button to select a languages which you need. Finally, press “Menu” button to exit. OSD H/V Pos: Press “< or >” button to  set the position of the menu on the screeen. OSD Timeout: Press “< or >” button to set the the time that OSD disappear from the screen when there is no operation. OSD Transparency: Press “< or >” button to set the OSD transparency.(Low, Middle or High) Restore Factory: Press “>” button to Restore factory menu.

Mirror H/V: Press“< or >” button to select “On or Off ”. Then the picture could flip(horizontally/ Vertically). Backlight: Press “< or >” button to se backlight. You have three options: ”High, Middle and Low”. Finally, press “Menu” button to exit. H/V-Start: Press “< or >” button to set the over-scan in this part. Finally, press “Menu” button to exit. H/V-Size: Press “< or >” button to set the size of horizontal/ Vertical over-scan. Finally, press “Menu” button to exit.

Image Mode: Press “< or >” button to set image mode, three are three modes.( Off, Switch and Motion )Finally, press “Menu” button to exit. Motion Time: When you select the motion mode, you could set the motion time. When there is no motion detected for a defined seconds, the monitor will return to the previous channel . Switch Timer: When you select the switch mode, you could set the switch timer. There are three input sources, you could set the time for each source from 0 to 30 second. Finally, press “Menu” button to exit. Special Ctrl: Press “>” button to set message select, message flicker and led flicker. And there are four modes in message select. And you could set on/off in the message flicker and led flicker. Finally, press “Menu” button to exit.

Picture Remark

FUNCTION: Press the “< or >” button to select contents you want to

display. For example, “PHOTO, MUSIC,MOVIE, TEXT”.

The default priority. Pls refer to the remote control introduction for more functions about the media play

Care and Cleaning

CAUTION: Turn off your MONITOR before cleaning.
You can clean the MONITOR as required, using a soft lint-free cloth. Be sure to occasionally dust the ventilation slots in the cabinet to help assure adequate ventilation.
The Monitor’s screen may be cleaned with a soft, lint-free cloth as well. Take care not to scratch or mar the screen. If necessary, you may use a cloth dampened with warm water. While cleaning.do not spray liquid directly on the screen, or allow liquid to run down the screen and inside the Monitor. Also, never place drinks or vases with water on top of the monitor. This could increase the risk of fire or shock hazard or damage to the monitor.

Mounting Your MONITOR to the Wall
Caution: The wall mount must bear a minimum of five times The monitor’s net weight without causing damage. To mount your MONITOR to the wall you need to purchase a VESA wall mount. VESA 100 x 100, KM4x 8mm (100 x 100, for example, means the mounting measurements are 100mm horizontally and 100mm vertically; M4 x 8 mm is the type screw that needs to be used).

  1. You need to remove the base first before attaching the wall mount.
    • Place the MONITOR face down on a surface that is soft, yet strong enough to hold the MONITOR.
    • Use a screwdriver to remove the screws from the four holes on each side of the bottom of the Monitor’s base (only use with base)
  2. Make sure all cables are already connected to the MONITOR.
  3. Follow the directions included with the wall mount to mount the monitor to the wall.
