CANGAROO EMPIRE Empire Stroller
Introduction
This stroller is suitable for babies and children aged 0 to 4 years or up to 22kg (whichever comes first). The stroller has been manufactured in accordance with the requirements of European standard EN 1888-1 – ‘Childcare articles. Wheeled means for moving children. Part 1: Baby strollers and prams. ” EN 1888-2 ‘Products for raising young children. Wheeled means for moving children. Part 2: Strollers for children weighing 0 kg to 22 kg. EN 1466-2014 Child use and care articles – Carry cots and stands – Safety requirements and test methods. ATTENTION! Your child will be protected as much as possible, provided you follow the instructions and recommendations in the instructions! Observe the warnings and take all necessary precautions to prevent the risk of injury or injury to the child and to ensure his or her safety! You are responsible for the safety of your child if you do not follow or comply with these instructions and recommendations! Make sure everyone who uses the stroller is familiar with and obeys the manual. Do not use parts or accessories for a stroller that are not approved by the manufacturer or distributor, as this may put your child at risk and void the stroller’s warranty.

WARNING!
- Never leave the child unattended!
- Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
- To avoid injury ensure that the child is kept away when unfolding and folding this product.
- Do not let the child play with this product.
- Use the harness as soon as the child can sit unaided.
- This seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months.
- Always use the restraint system.
- Check that the pram body or seat unit or car seat attachment devices are correctly engaged before use.
- This product is not suitable for running or skating. Use a harness as soon as the child can sit unaided.
- Use the basket for a child that cannot sit without someone`s help, to roll and stand up on its own, using your hands and knee support! Use the seat only on a rigid, horizontal and dry surface!
- Never use a the seat on a stand! For a new born baby use the lowest position of the backrest!
- Use the position of the backrest in seating position for children after 6 months age!
- Keep out of fire! Always use a safety belt! Do not lift the stroller by the safety board! Before use, make sure that all blocking devices are activated!
- To avoid injury, make sure that your child is at a safety distance when adjusting, opening and folding this product! Don’t allow your child to play with this product!
- Before use, check the assembly of the seat trolley, whether the seat or the car seat are correctly and properly fitted to the frame.
- Use the product for a child weighing less than 15 kg. Use the seat or a child weighing less than 15 kg!
- The assembly of the product is only to be done by an adult! Do not put an extra mattress thicker than 20mm in the seat!
- Always activate the rear brake when placing and removing the child from the stroller! Before use, make sure that the seat belts are properly fitted and adjusted.
- The maximum load on the luggage basket should not exceed 3kg! The maximum load of the luggage bag (if used) should not exceed 2 kg!
- Do not overload the stroller! Any load placed and / or attached to the handle, board, backrest, canopy and / or sides of the stroller can affect its stability! Do not place objects weighing more than 0.45kg in the canopy pocket.
- The stroller and the seat are designed to carry only one child!
- Do not use spare parts and other components not supplied by the manufacturer! The manufacturer accepts no liability for safety if used spare parts, different from the original ones or approved by the approved type.
- Do not make changes or modifications to the construction! If necessary, contact your supplier or an authorized service centre for advice and repair.
- The car seat does not replace the baby seat or crib. When the baby does not need sleep, it should be placed in a suitable baby stroller, seat or crib.
- Do not use the product if you find any missing or damaged parts!
- Do not allow children under 3 years of age to fully assemble the product to avoid access to small and disassembled parts!
- Do not place additional cords or ties on the product to avoid the risk of suffocation!
- Do not use the stroller on escalator and be careful when getting down or up on the sidewalk.
- Keep the plastic packaging away from children to avoid the risk of suffocation!
- DO NOT store the product in humid places and in direct sunlight!

Assembly instructions and functions
Open the carton and get the seat and frame out of it. (Picture 1)
Unfold the frame as it is shown on Picture 2.
To fold the seat, pull up the canopy. Pull the handle on the back of the
canopy and with your thumb press the button to the right to unfold the seat.
Once you unfold the seat, the stroller should look like Picture 3.
Note: When the position is fixed you will hear a click.
How to assemble the seat – follow the steps shown on picture 4.
Note: When using the stroller on uneven surfaces, fix the wheels for straight motion only.
WARNING: When opening the stroller, ensure that your child or other child is at a safe distance. Ensure that during these operations, the movable parts of the stroller do not come into contact with your child
Installation and removal of the front wheels – to remove the wheel, press the
button and pull the wheel out. (Picture 5-6)
Installation and removal of the rear wheels – please follow the steps show on
pictures 7 and 8.
Installation and removal of the front bumper – Press the buttons on both sides
of the bumper and remove it. (Picture 9-10 )
Installation/removal of seat – To remove the seat, press the seat removal
button and take out the seat. (Picture 11-12)
Restrain system (5-point safety belt) – To unfasten the safety belt, press the
central buckle and split the belts. Place the child in the stroller and fasten
the belts. (Picture 13 – 16) Shoulder belts can be adjusted in 3 height
levels.
CAUTION! ALWAYS USE THE RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SAFETY BELTS), TO AVOID FALLING OR SLIPPING OF THE CHILD! Use the safety belts for newborn babies, who can sit alone and unaided and can push her/himself on hands or knees as well.
CAUTION! Belts must be snug to child`s body and must not be twisted.
Canopy – Follow the steps shown on pictures 17 – 20.
Backrest angle adjustment – Pull the lever and move the backrest in higher or lower position. Push the backrest with your hand, in order to set it in more upright position. (Picture 21)
Foot rest position adjustment – Press simultaneously the two buttons on both sides of the foot rest in lower position. Push up the foot rest in order to move it from lower to higher position. (Picture 22)
Handle height adjustment – As it is shown on picture 23, when the position is fixed you will hear a click.
Parking device – Blocking the rear wheels movement. Releasing the rear wheels movement. (Picture 24)
Swivel and straight motion of front wheels – When using the stroller on uneven surfaces, fix the wheels for straight motion only. (Picture 25)
Folding the stroller – Remove the guard board by pressing the buttons on both ends. Then press the button on the back of the seat. To fold the frame, press the two knobs on the handle and press down. To fully fold the stroller, press the two plastic guards at the same time. To complete folding, use the locking mechanism for greater security (Picture 45).

CAUTION! Baby`s head should be above the level of his body!
CAUTION! The carry cot and car seat always must be installed in face-to- face mode!
