Installation Instruction
-
Carefully pull house wires down out of the junction box so house wires are easily accessed to connect fixture wires.
-
Position the mounting bracket so the head of the ground screw and the longer end of the threaded pipe is pointing down towards the floor. Place mounting bracket (A) up against the junction box. Align each slot in mounting bracket (A) with each hole in the junction box.
-
Thread one junction box screw (B) into each slot in the mounting bracket (A) and into holes in the junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to the junction box.
-
Thread swivel (E) onto the end of the threaded pipe attached to the mounting bracket (A). CAUTION: Make sure house wires are still easily accessible. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and ceiling.
CAUTION: At least one 6-inch stem must be used. -
Carefully push fixture wires up through bottom of the 6-inch stem (N). Pull fixture wires out of the top of the 6-inch stem (N). Screw the bottom of the 6-inch stem (N) onto the top of the fixture body (O).
-
Determine the desired hanging height of the fixture. Select the number of stems (M) to achieve that height.
-
Carefully push fixture wires up through the end of one 12-inch stem (M). Thread the end of the stem (M) onto the top of the stem (N).
-
Carefully push fixture wires through the remaining stems (M). Screw stems (M) together keeping fixture wires taut. DO NOT pinch fixture wires between stems.
-
Slip threaded ring (F) down over the end of the stem (M).
-
Position canopy (D) so the outside of the canopy is pointing down towards the fixture. Slip hole in the canopy (D) over the end of the stem (M).
-
Strip 3/4” of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.
-
Carefully push fixture wires up through the bottom of swivel (E) attached to threaded pipe on mounting bracket (A). Pull fixture wires out of the top of the threaded pipe. Carefully pull fixture wires so they are easily accessible to connect to house wires.
-
Thread the end of the last stem (M) onto swivel (E). DO NOT pinch wires between stem (M) and swivel (E).
-
Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove the ground screw. Wrap ground wire from the junction box around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference the chart below for correct wire connections.

Bare Silver Wire or,
Green Insulated Wire. -
Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference chart to the right for correct wire connections.
-
Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened into wire nuts.
-
Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.

*When parallel wire (SPT 1 & SPT 2) is used: The lead wire is round in shape or smooth.
The neutral wire is square in shape or ridged.
- Raise canopy (D) up to the ceiling. Pass hole in the canopy (D) over swivel (E). Position canopy (D) up against the ceiling.
- Raise threaded ring (F) up to canopy (D). Screw-threaded ring (F) onto swivel (E). Tighten the threaded ring (F) to secure the fixture to the ceiling.
- Screw recommended bulbs (E12 Candelabra bulb type, not included) into sockets. Verify the correct bulb wattage marked on the socket of the fixture. WARNING: DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage.
- Raise shade (K) up to the fixture. Pass a hole in the top of shade (K) over the bulb. While holding shade (K) in place, raise the ring (L) up to the fixture. Pass holes along the edge of the ring (L) over threaded studs on the bottom of the fixture cage.
- Thread one threaded cap (S) onto each threaded stud. Equally, tighten threaded caps (S) to secure ring (L) to the cage.
