OPT7 LIGHTING 2016-2021 Honda Civic Hatchback Tail light
WHAT INCLUDED
INSTALLATION
STEP 1
Open the hatch.
STEP2
Remove the two bolts to free the tail light housing.
STEP3
Push toward the outside of the vehicle to pop the tail light housing out.
STEP 4
Unplug the four electrical connectors from the factory tail light.
STEP 5
Connect the electrical connectors to the new tail light housing.
STEP 6
Line up the tabs and pop the new tail light housing in.
STEP 7
Secure the tail light housing by re-installing the two bolts that were
removed.
STEP 8
Remove the plastic trim on the inside of the hatch. Remove the 3 bolts
securing the tail light housing.
STEP 9
Push from the inside of the hatch to release the tail light housing.
STEP 10
Disconnect the electrical connector from the stock tail light housing.
STEP 11
Reconnect the electrical connector to the new tail light housing.
STEP 12
Secure the tail light housing by inserting and tightening the 3 bolts that
were removed. Reattach the plastic trim on the inside of the hatch.
STEP 13
Enjoy your new tail lights!
