CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
- Carefully push the blade unit forward with your thumb. The blade unit can be removed and cleaned with the cleaning brush provided. Add 2 to 3 drops of the included lubricating oil onto the movable parts and stationary blade. The blade must be cleaned regularly. Regular cleaning, oiling and good maintenance ensures optimum results and maintains the runtime of the product.
- Insert the blade unit back into the trimmer and push it in the direction as shown below.
CAUTION
- Clean the product only using a cloth which is slightly dampened in water or a mind soap solution.
- Do not use hair dryer or a heater to dry the trimmer else it may deform the product and mechanical failure might occur.
- Never use a caustic solution.
- Never submerge the trimmer in water.
- The trimmer may become warm during operating and/or charging. This is normal.
- Never tamper with moving parts.
GUARANTEE
Havells Personal Grooming products are guaranteed against manufacturing defect
for a period of Two Years from the date of purchase. The defective product
will be repaired/replaced within guarantee period free of cost provided it is
sent (freight paid), securely packed to our nearest authorized dealer/service
center along with the purchase bill and guarantee card duly filled in and
stamped by the selling dealer. Damaged/broken or worn-out parts will be
charged basis company’s list price.
The guarantee is valid subject to the following:
- The product is used and maintained properly and the damage is not due to negligence, mishandling, toppling or falling off of the product, distorted/damaged blades, accident and attempted repairs by unauthorized persons.
- The product is purchased from Havells authorized dealers/retailers only.
- The serial number of the product is not missing, deleted, defaced or altered.
- The product is used for personal/ domestic purpose only.
The guarantee shall not apply:
Havells India Ltd. shall, however, be liable up to the maximum of the price
charged for the product and shall have no responsibility for any indirect or
consequential damage.

WARNING
- This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by the person responsible for their safety.
- Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water. Do not use the beard trimmer with wet hands or store it near a tub, sink or other place where it will be exposed to water and other liquids or high humidity.
- Do not use steel wool, abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids (such as alcohol, petrol or acetone) to clean the product. Always clean the product with a damp cloth and non- corrosive liquid cleaners.
- Do not use the product near wound, inflammatory or allergic areas.
- Do not make any alteration to the product or give it to any unauthorized person for maintenance.
- Keep the appliance away from hot gas burner, electric hot plate or similar appliance.
- Never drop or insert any object into any of the product’s openings.
- Do not use this appliance with a damaged or broken attachment head, as facial or body injury may occur.
- Do not use an extension cord or a voltage converter with this product.
- Do not use the product if it has been dropped in water or if it has been dropped and damaged or if it has a damaged cord or plug.
- Do not expose the product to fire and high temperature to avoid malfunction, fire, or fire hazard caused by heat.
- Please ensure the input power supply of adaptor to be 100 V-240 V AC voltages, to avoid fire, electric shock, etc.
- The battery is designed specifically for this product. It undergoes internal chemical reaction and expansive deformations. Besides, the product may be deformed under the situation of high temperature or humidity. Please stop using if the product is deformed or overheated to avoid electric shock and fire hazard.
- Please dispose of the machine in an appropriate manner. The stores that sell these batteries have public recycling stations with special containers to dispose of the discarded rechargeable batteries
- For additional protection, we advise you to install a leakage current protection device (RCCB/ELCB) in the electrical circuit that supplies the bathroom. This RCCB/ELCB must have a rated residual operating current not higher than 30 mA.
CHARGING INSTRUCTION
Before using the trimmer for the first time, please charge it completely by
plugging it in for 8 hours. Connect the Micro USB Plug of the USB Cable to the
charging port situated at the bottom of the trimmer and then plug the other
end of cable to a standard USB power adaptor (5 V/1 A). While the device
charges, the indicator light will display red. After 8 hours of charge, the
trimmer can run for 45 minutes.
INSTRUCTION FOR THE COMB ATTACHMENT
This rechargeable beard trimmer is designed to trim beard accurately. It has a
comb lock in function to set the comb at the desired length setting. Customize
your beard style using the length settings for the comb attachment in 9 steps:
1 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm, 7 mm, 9 mm, 11 mm, 13 mm, 15 mm, 17 mm. This beard trimmer
can be used in cordless condition only.
- Please ensure that the device is turned OFF and the comb lock button is at the unlock position before you use the comb attachment. Move the comb attachment up or down to set the desired cutting length on the back of the trimmer.
- There are 9 length settings for the comb attachment: 1 mm, 3 mm, 5 mm, 7 mm, 9 mm, 11 mm, 13 mm, 15 mm and 17 mm. Once the comb is set on the desired cutting length, please ensure the comb lock button is set to lock position.
- Now the trimmer is ready to use with your desired comb length setting. Please switch ON the trimmer and start using to achieve an even and accurate beard.
HOW TO USE
- Please ensure the trimmer is charged before you start your trimming session. This beard trimmer can be used in corded as well as cordless condition.
- Set the comb according to your desired length setting and set the comb lock button to lock position.
- Slide the ON/OFF button to switch ON the trimmer.
- Now to start, begin defining your beard’s shape under your chin and work upwards on each side of your face towards your eyes.
- Now define the upper outline of beard across cheeks defining your hairline.
- You are required to set the comb lock button to unlock position in case you want to change the length setting for styling your beard.
- Once done with complete beard styling, switch OFF the trimmer by sliding the ON/OFF button to OFF position.
